Don't Make Me Leave Yet

Flowers, laughter, smiling faces, sad ones, tears, kind voices, black and blue spots, broken glass, and finally blood. All of these things are what Lindsay saw flashed acrossed the sky.
She knew it was just a dream, but she couldn't remember anything before it. How was she supposed to know the difference between reality and imagination if she's only remembered experiencing one.
In the world she had crated in her head, she picked up a daisy and sniffed the scent of nature and sweetness. Everything had been amazing and nice in the world she was walking in right now.
She followed a little stream that had made it's own path down the hill. She followed it until she stopped and sat down under a shady tree.
She reached up to grab an apple that was ripe . It was a very pleasant day.
But all good things must come to an end.
She tried willing herself to stay just a little while longer, but the voices were too loud and desperate for her not to notice.
  "Lindsay?"
No. She was slipping away. She was trying to stay focussed on her flowers, but when she looked down, they were all brown. She watched as the apple she had just bitten turn a shade of brown. A slight breeze slowly took each crumpled, dead flower pedal  away while the apple slowly rocked back and forth.
She looked up at the beautifully lit sky, which was now turning to an orange. She let a tear fall steadily down her cheek knowing there was nothing she could have done to stay any longer.
She prayed, desperately, that she would be able to come back again.
The voice continued it's pleading. "Lin, I need you right now. We all need you. Baby, please.... Forget about everything that's  happened. I need you now more than I ever have before. God, I knew I should've been in that car with you! I should've been there!" The boy's voice cracked and quivered. "Baby, I'm here for you. But I can't help you unless you open your eyes and let me know you're okay. Please, let me know you're okay."
She took the boys advice he had just given her. Only she didn't realize she had taken the advice. It was out of her control now. All the memories came fludding in for one final moment. Then, they were gone, almost as soon as they had come.
She took his advice. She forgot. And then... she woke up.
