Chapter 6: Pregnant Girl's Day Out

After school me and Alyssa went to Tina's Spa. We both got a Mani-pedi and a facial mask, and a back rub. Little baby insde of me, your going to be so cute, and I'm never going to let anything happen to you! I swear!

"Zoeyonna."

"Huh?" 

"Do you think that your parents are going to make you give your baby up for adoption?" 

My dad might, But I don't think my Mom will. Do you think your Mom will make you give your baby up?"

"My mom won't, but I mean, It's my baby. She can't make me give it up. You know?"

"Yeah. Sometimes I talk to my baby. Is that stupid?"

"Actually Zoeyonna. I read that a baby likes the sound of a mothers voice."

"Really? Hey, do you want to spend the night?"

"Yeah, actually let me call my mom quick and ask her."

"I can stay."

"Cool, my Mom said it was okay too."

"Our babies are going to be best friends!"

I could tell Alyssa was excited/worried about the whole baby thing just as much as I was! This was making me feel like an adult. I kind of had to grow up now, and all, since I was pregnant now. Things had to change. 

"Hey Alyssa, do you want to try to get our appointments with each other?" 

"Yeah! That would be cool! Do you want to call for it?"

"Yeah sure."

I grabbed a phone book from the living room and looked through it. Things around the house between me and Arijana and Alanis have been weird. The don't talk to me and I don't talk to them either. Ring. Ring. Ring.

"Cedar Valley's Doctor Office. How may I help you?"

 "I'd like to make an appointment for Alyssa and Zoeyonna, we are both currently pregnant, but we both want to be in the same room together, while we have the appointment."

"Ma'am that won't be possible because it's law. I could Have you guys in rooms next door to you. How would that be?"

"Okay. What times are available?"

"Today at 3:30pm and tomorrow at 4:00pm."

"We'll take the 3:30pm one today."

She got all of our information and Me and Alyssa went in my room to get ready.  We wore matching jogging suits, mine was blue, hers was lime green. We decided to dress the same, do our make-up the same, and our hair the same. We flat ironed our hair, and light blue, sparkly eyeshadow. 

We arrived at the doctor's appointment. We sat in the waiting room, and then a lady, wearing a tweedy bird nurse thing on. "Alyssa and Zoeyonna?" she said nicely. We stood up and walked to her and followed her, Alyssa walked in one room, and I walked in the other.  Here it goes. 

I sat there patientally waiting for a doctor. Suddenly, a young female doctor came in, she looked about 21 or 22.

"Are you going to be my doctor?" I said without sounding nervous. 

'No, sweetie, actually, I'm your nurse!".

"Oh! Okay, do you know who's going to be my doctor then? Male or female?"

"I actually know it's going to be a female, I think it's going to be Dr. Izzy."

I sat there with my heart beating, knowing that this was going to be scary, In my head, I thought about how Alyssa's appointment was going. Did she have a guy doctor?
