Rajveer-Naina - Journey to Point 1857

Chapter 5

Knowing that she won't react to his comment so easily, Rajveer takes a deep breath out of irritation. Closing his eyes, he tries to calm himself down. Yes, another thing which she will be punished for later on.

Smiling, opening back his eyes, he takes few steps towards her.

"Haan yehi hai wo ithasik Point 1857"

says Rajveer

This drags Naina's attention. Giving him a smile, she runs up to him and stands right next to him.

"Lekin dekho, yahan pe aisa kuch bhi nahi hai jis ke liye hamein itni mehnat karni parhi"

he speaks further

Nodding her head in disappointment at his words, Naina fixes her hair. Looking towards him, she decides to question him further.

"Lekin Bhaiyya ki notebook mein toh is jagah ka zikar baar baar hai. Toh aisi kya khas baat hai is jagah mein?"

she questions further

Naina's question drags Rajveer's attention. Turning towards her, he stares at her for quite a bit of time. Not knowing how to say this, Rajveer again looks ahead. Should he tell her the importance of this place? Or should he leave it on her to guess? Or why not let her wait for the answer for some time.

"Wo tumhe khud pata chal jayega thori dair mein"

utters Rajveer knowing what exactly he is saying

His words causes Naina's heart to skip a beat. Not exactly understanding what he means, Naina turns towards him slightly.

"Mathlab?"

she questions him

Her questions!!! She is technically like a maths question paper. No matter how much you try, she won't be satisfied with an answer.

Ignoring her questions, he gets a hold on to her wrist.

"Come I'll show you something"

says Rajveer

At this, Naina looks towards him while she nods at him with a smile. They walk few steps ahead. With his left hand's index finger, Rajveer points it towards a pillar.

"Ye hai wo wishing pillar"

he says

"Wishing pillar?"

comes Naina's next question

Smiling, Rajveer takes few steps towards the wishing pillar. Turning, he looks back towards Naina.

"Haan wishing pillar. Aisa kaha jata hai ke agar yahan pe koi sachay dil se puri sharadha ke sath mannat mange, ya phir kuch bhi wish kare, wo puri ho jati hai"

explains Rajveer looking towards Naina

A satisfactory smile creeps on Naina's face as she hears this. Her face glows under the beautiful moonlight while a child-like excitement is evident on her face.
