Seulgi's POV

"Are we going to get punished? Jailed? What? Are you going to kill us?" Yeri snapped at Prince Jungkook, who's standing calmly in front of Yeri.

"Calm down, Lady. No, we're going to let you go as soon as it is already safe for you." Prince Jungkook gave out a cheeky smile.

"Jungkook! All clear!" A voice shouted.

"Okay! So girls, please.. Please don't try to trespass again. It would be very dangerous for you all. Okay?" Prince Jungkook warned us as we nodded before they escorted us out.

"Ugh.. I'm hungry!" Yeri whined.

I smiled.

"Should I go sneak in and get some food for us?"

Yeri looked at me with an are-you-serious look.

"Yes! I'm serious. Do I look like I'm joking?" I answered.

"You're crazy.. I love it." She laughed. "But be careful or else you'll get caught."

I nodded.

"Of course, you're talking to Kang Seulgi. I'm great at sneaking in and hiding." I winked at her before running back in the palace.

I quickly hid behind a big jar as someone is actually guarding the place.

I took a deep breath before tiptoeing inside.

I sighed. I think I'm going to get lost.

But food is life so might as well risk it. I only have one chance so better not waste it!

Each time a guard walks, I hide between something. Since this palace is actually full of big stuffs where we can hide. It's actually a big advantage for me.

After ten minutes of looking around, I finally found the giant kitchen that I've been searching for.

I quickly checked and made myself alert first before running to the refrigerator and taking out those fancy food and stuffing them inside my shirt.

I'm sorry, foodies. This is where you can hide for now.

I was about to turn around when someone hung his or her arms on my shoulder. Making me freeze.

I'm dead.

"Food?" So he is a he.

"I'm sorry, but.. Why are you taking our food?" He asked once again.

I slowly looked at him and accidentaly let the food fall from my arms and shirt.

He looks handsome. Just like those other princes we just met.

Is he also a Prince?

"U-uh.. I can explain.." I stuttered.

"No time for explaining." He uttered before kneeling down and taking the food I just let go off. He took them one by one and got a basket. Putting all those food in them before handing them to me.

I stared at him, confused.

"Take it and go. Don't steal again next time, okay? It's dangerous for you to come in and do that. I'll let you go for now. Just go to your friends." He explained before shoving the basket into my hands.

Because basically, everything didn't sink in my head yet.

"Go.." He said once again.

"T-thank you.." I bowed repeatedly.

"Just keep what I said in your mind. Take care and be safe." He reminded before looking straight into my eyes, shrugging and giving out a gentle smile.
