Irene's POV

I stared at his pictures around his room. It's clearly full of pictures of him and 6 other boys including those princes.

"Handsome aren't we?" A voice suddenly asked.

I shifted me eyes to Prince Taehyung who just finished taking a bath. Half of his body covered by a towel but then I quickly shrieked and by my reflexes I covered my eyes.

I heard his chuckle. "Why? Are you shy? I'm sorry."

"A-ah, Prince Taehyung, I'm.. Uhm.. Atleast wear some  clothes first before leaving the bathroom." I suggested still covering my innocent eyes.

I took him a minute before telling me that I can stop covering my eyes now. I took my hands off and looked at him.

He's wearing a plain white t-shirt and a red pajama. He dress like a normal person. But he's still a prince.

"Staring is rude, Irene." He teased as I quickly averted my gaze to the window.

"Why don't you wear something expensive or prince-like pajamas or something like that, Your Majesty?" I asked out of curiousity. "Uh, if that sounded rude. I'm sorry. I'm.. just curious."

"Oh, about that. Wearing some of those prince-like things as you have said, I don't feel comfortable with them. I'd rather wear simple clothes like this." He emphasized as he pointed his shirt.

I nodded as I looked down.

"Another question.." I said.

"What is it?" He sat on his bed as he started to dry his hair. Tiny droplets are falling from his hair to his carpeted floor.

"Are you guys somehow.. like siblings? But you have.. different surnames?"

"About that.." He trailed as he put his towel down. He sat on his bed in an indian seat form as he rested his elbow on his legs.

"We're actually cousins but yeah, things got screwed up and they ended up staying in this big palace. Originally, it was only us three. Kim Seokjin, Kim Namjoon, and me, Kim Taehyung. But I was actually glad. Since the more the merrier. It's actually boring in this place. I'd rather live like an ordinary person and explore." He suddenly opened up as I nodded.

"Say, the outside world might be cruel but it's actually beautiful out there!" I expressed with excitement.

He nodded, agreeing to what I've said.

"You've been out?" I asked.

"Yup. Remember the other day when you thought I was waving at you?" He bit his lower lip. Probably trying to stop himself from laughing.

I felt embarassed as I remebered how I held on his cloak and asked for his help.

"No, don't remind me about that. It's embarassing, Your Majesty." I groaned.

"Fine!" He chuckled. "But I was wearing a cloak to hide. I went out to explore and I just broke a rule. That's also the reason why I told you to stop shouting or stop being noisy."

"Oh, so how was the outside world?" I asked.

"Amazing. I went up a mountain and the view.. breathtaking! It's worth it!" He smiled like a child. His rectangular smile showing off all his white perfect teeth.

"Keep that a secret though. Me leaving the palace." He became serious.

"Don't worry, I can keep secrets." I gave him a genuine smile.

"Thanks.." He smiled back.

We were both startled as a knock was heard then a guy and a girl barged in the room making my eyebrows furrow.

"Seulgi? Prince Jimin?" I whispered.

"Dude!" Prince Jimin high-fived with Taehyung as they had their arms around each other's shoulders.

Seems like they are close.

"Yes! What is it?" Prince Taehyung's raised a brow. "This gotta be exciting because you just ruined our one-on-one talk." He joked.

"It would be worth it, Your Majesty." Seulgi smiled.

"Hey, what is this about?" I nudged Seulgi. She just smiled at me as Prince Jimin said something making my eyes widen.

"Let's break a rule and explore together. The four of us." He smiled.

"What?!" Both me and Prince Taehyung replied in shock.

"Come on! It'll be fun, Your Majesty!" Seulgi winked.

"This is not good, Seulgi." I warned her.

"But fun. It would be worth it, Irene. Don't worry." She assured me, making me just nod.

Fine, I'd rather go outside than get stuck in this big freaking palace. It's too suffocating here.

"What do you think, Irene?" Prince Taehyung looked at me.

"It would be fun. But the decision is on you." I smiled.

"Well then, if Irene's would have fun. Let's do it!"
