Chapter 1: A Tour

Cameron's POV

It's been a month now since I got here. And everything feels nice... sort of. I'm trying my best to be accustomed that my life will now be filled with animals and monsters. Like Jack, now that I know a few about him, I'm not scared as usual when he's around. The same as Fabian, I'm gradually understanding him know. But for the others, I'm still trying my best.

I walk out of my room and saw a lot of students just chatting.

*Beep* *Beep* My watch started vibrating.

Zechariah: Cameron, it's Zechariah, pls meet me in my office.

Cameron: Sure thing.

'I wonder what's up' I thought to myself. I then headed to Zechariah's office.

In Zechariah's office...

*knock, knock*

Zechariah: Come in.

Cameron: Hey Zechariah, you called for me.

Zechariah: Ah, Cameron. Pls come in and have a seat.

I walked inside his office and sat down at the chair in front of his desk.

Zechariah: I'm sorry if I'm doing this to you but, I need you to tour someone in this school.

Cameron: Tour?

Zechariah: Yes. Afterall, you've been here for a month now. Plus, as counselor, you should also know this person.

Cameron: I-I guess so. Who is this person anyway.

Zechariah: *gives a folder to Cameron* Take a look.

I opene the folder and saw a picture of an animal. It looks like a wolf.

Zechariah: He's name is Lycan. We don't know what species is. He prefers to keep it a secret.

Cameron: He has a c-criminal record?

Zechariah: Yes. Commited a murder when he was 7.

Cameron: Who d-did he k-kill?

Zechariah: He's parents.

I felt a chill down my spine. "He's parents!?", I was shocked. Honestly, I don't know what to say else.

Zechariah: But we believe that it wasn't him.

Cameron: How do you know?

Zechariah: Just a feeling. When I interviewed him, I saw a nice soul inside.

Cameron: Is that why you agreed in letting him enroll here?

Zechariah: Yes.

Cameron: Okay... So, when is he coming here?

Zechariah: He'll be coming here shortly. So, pls just wait for him. You may go now.

Cameron: T-Thanks for the heads up.

I left the room while holding the folder in my arms.

Jackie: Hey Cam. Why are you looking pale?

Cameron: Oh hi Jackie. Zech told me that... That I was going to take an exchange student a tour around the school.

Jackie: Wow, that's great. So what's the big deal.

Cameron: Oh you know. He's a murderer.
