The Life of the normal, but not so normal, girl.
~
A large hall filled with both men and women of different statures. In the middle of the hall stood one girl and a man slightly bigger than her.
The third person present near the center did a gesture, swinging his hand down, to signal the start of the spar.
The spectators watched as it only took one move for the girl to finish the match.
The man charged at the girl, but the latter didn't even bat an eye when she grabbed his shoulder then the cloth near his abdommen to do an overshoulder throw.
"Point!" the man acting as referee called out and the girl let go of her grip of the man and straightened her posture, then bowed.
The others aren't that surprised anymore, since this girl was kind of an anomaly amongst the females. Unlike normal girls, she didn't let her gender and size burden her. She wasn't like the frail and precious image that girls are portrayed to be, she was storng.
After changing into casual clothes, the girl left the dojo and wanted to go straight home, but suddenly received a message telling her to come to her agency.
Not only was the girl skilled in martial arts, she was also working as a model. Her fame was just about right. The middle of the showbusiness heirarchy. She was neither countryside famous nor red carpet famous, just normal; salary enough for her to lead a relaxed life.
But as people say: 'Sometimes, people are not what you think they are', and that applies to her.
Though she looked and acted normal outside of her house, once she had stepped in, one will immediatly notice the posters and figurines of fictional characters. Her previous elegant appearance would be gone in an instant, and the fashionable clothes she once wore are replaced with oversized clothes.
That's right, she liked the things called manga and anime.
She just liked watching anime, liked reading manga, and loved collecting material things that connected to the things she likes. The more accurate description for her would be: nerd.
That's right, she was a hardcore nerd for japanese comics and animation. She liked fictional characters more than real people.
She was leading a life she wanted. This was perfect for her already.
~
But some things are bound to crumble at some point in time.
She didn't know that time.
Maybe, if she hadn't decided to go to the agency then her perfect life would've continued.
Like, what kind of idiot continues to drive at a red light. If she could move, she would've drop-kicked whoever that was that decided to hit her with their car.
On the bright side, she managed to see the person get dragged by the police. She would laugh if she can, but the pain was unbearable.
Though it lasted only for a moment before she blacked out.
