The girl mostly liked to play games, it can be any kind. RPG, MMORPG, Visual novels, she can play them all.
She can tolerate most otome games too, but some just get in her nerves. Frequent problems would include:
1. The Heroine was seriously annoying.
2. The capture targets are annoying.
Basically, aniything that she finds annoying, she can't tolerate. That includes one ridiculous otome game where the characters are so annoying to the point that she wanted to pull out all of her hair in anger when she was playing it.
But due to the collectibles of the game, she had to finish it. Instead of CG's of special events with the capture targets it, the game developer gave the players wondrous images of beautiful sceneries.
The otome game was: Maji Koi: Doki Doki Gakuen.
Yes, a very pretentious name, but for the sake of the various masterpiece illustrations of a very amazing artist, she did it. The images were only available in the game and cannot be found elsewhere. Some people , who finished the game, tried to share their hard work by uploading the images in the net but were quickly taken down by copyright issues.
If she wanted to describe the time when she played the game; It was HELL. Nothing could be more annoying than that freaking game, it drove every player crazy.
Other otome game fans might think that they were overreacting, but their words were taken back when they played the game themselves.
Don't even mention the capture targets, the heroine was plenty annoying already. Not only was her character all over the place, the choices that showed up on the screen made it seem like the heroine had the intelligence of a toddler.
What are you doing, game developers? The angry mob asked time and time again, but got no response from the developer team or whatsoever.
It made the female otaku fans conclude that men really do go for the idiot type.
Though the game was bad, the players did feel a bit of refreshment while playing the game.
It was because of one character that appears from time to time. Though the character was portrayed as the villainess/rival, the players always looked forward for her appearance.
Even though the villainess' words to the heroine were full of hate and scorn, the players didn't hate her since she might be the only sane person in the game.
Unlike the idiot of a heroine, the villainess was more pleasing to look at.
The villainess didn't bully the heroine nor cause any physical harm to the idiot, she would always appear and say a few unelegant words to the heroine then quickly leaves the area. The ones who physically bully the heroine were mob characters that didn't even have their own faces and just had a silhouette indicating that their gender was female.
With great tolerance, ounces of hard work, and refreshing encounters with the rival, the girl managed to finish the game.
A painful experience, but it was worth it when she had the beautiful illustrations printed in poster papers and hung on her wall.
She was supposed to have escaped from that game(hell), and didn't want to have a second experience of dealing with annoying characters, and yet here she is.
The girl stared, not letting her eyes widen in surprise at the scenery in front of her.
There, stood two people, a boy and a girl. The 13 years old idiot couple.
This was a scene she was familiar with, one that broke her heart when she finished the game on the prince's route.
The downfall of the villainess, that was the place she was suddenly into.
