Matt's POV
We were finally aloud to go back to the room where ava was and when we got back there it was so hard to look at her. All limp and lifeless with hundreds of tubes and iv's everywhere. The nurse told us that the gash on her head was due to head trauma. And now cameron is blaming himself for letting her fall asleep. I can tell he feels terrible. The doctor said they put her on some drugs to try and wake her back up. Other than that all we can do is wait.
We all fell asleep that night in the hotel room. Cameron weaved himself in between the maze of wires and tubes and slept next to Ava. That should be me. Can she not see that i could treat her so much better?? As Taylor and Megan were snoring softily as they cuddled, i wondered if i would ever find love.
Taylor's POV
The mood in the room was worry. I was really worried about Ava. and almost as worried about megan. she had bags under her eyes and she was pale. I felt really bad. so we cuddled for a long time in the hospital rooms and fell asleep to the dull hum of the machines.
Nash POV
Late at night I heard a rustling sound. I woke to see Cameron moving over to Ava's bedside.
"Ava. I am so sorry. you wouldn't be in this position if I would've been smarter and kept you awake. I feel like such a terrible person. I miss your smile. and your laugh. your corny jokes, and, how kind you are to everyone. no matter what they look like. when I met you Ava. I couldn't think about anything but how my life wouldn't be complete without you. Ava Marshall, I love you. please stay."
That brought tears to my eyes. I look over to see Taylor, Megan, And Jess were listening too. Just when I thought it was over I heard another rustling noise. Cam inhaled sharply,
"you are the first person to say that to me, and really sound like you mean it."
Ava was awake! She must have been listening that whole time!
"Ava!" Cameron exclaimed.
they pulled in and had a nice long kiss.
I would be uncomfortable, but thankfully, Jess was there. And she was all I needed.
