The ride home was quiet and a bit awkward. Rain decided to break the silence. "I never caught your name... Can I know it?" She smiled at him and replied, "I don't have one." Rain was unsettled. "Do you not trust me enough to have your name?" He glanced over at her, only to see that she was staring at him. She blushed lightly before looking away, as did Rain. "I was never given a name... Can you give me one?" She replied quietly. Rain sat there and thought to himself. "How about..." He glanced at her and studied her. "... Sam?" She smiled, "I like it." She slowly inched her hand closer to his, then took it. Rain began to blush, then crossed their fingers and smiled. For once Rain was filled with happiness, and no bad thoughts were on his mind.
