God calls his children into the room. There is only a few now. There is his oldest, Michael, strong and loyal, who walks in first. Michael is followed by Lucifer, God's favorite. Lucifer's bright white wings made from the very pure light of God. Then there is Raphael, solemn as ever. Gabriel glides on his six golden wings carrying his brother Balthazar by his small hands. Balthazar laughs, dangling in the air. Metatron follows, holding onto Gadreel's hand. Anna and Naomi are being carried by God's sister, the Darkness.

God gathers them to show them his newest son. He is a small black haired baby with blue eyes and tiny wings as black as shadows press snuggly against his back.

"This is your new brother. What do you think?" God asks.

"He's as tiny as Gabriel was!" Lucifer says slightly surprised.

"No he isn't!" Gabriel exclaims. He flies over and hovers over Castiel. "I was never that tiny."

"And how would you know, you were a baby." Michael laughs.

"What are you gonna call him?" Small Gadreel asks.

"Why not, Castiel?" Gabriel suggests.

God smiles, "I like that, tell me, why Castiel?"

Gabriel shrugs. "Castiel is a really pretty name and I think that suits him."

Lucifer pokes Castiel's nose, Castiel scrunches his nose in return. Tiny, innocent Lucifer smiles and giggles at his newest brother.

"Hi, brother." Lucifer kisses his brother's forehead.

"Can I hold him?" Gabriel asks landing on the ground, and his arms outstretch to receive his brother. God softly place Castiel in Gabriel' awaiting arms.

"Hi, baby brother. Welcome to paradise."  Gabriel snuggles his baby brother.

"Be careful, Gabriel, you do not want to hurt him." Michael warns and tousles his younger brother's hair.

Gabriel nods vigorously. "Okay okay I won't I promise. I'll never hurt him."

Balthazar comes and takes a closer look, vibrant young eyes looking curiously over his newest sibling.

Balthazar goes to touch him and spazzes when Castiel grasps his fingers. Balthazar whines. Castiel huffs and sneezes on Balthazar. They babble to each other, talking incoherently to everyone else but those two. Balthazar puckers up his lips and place a wet kiss right below Castiel's blue eyes. Castiel grabs his face in return and starts gently slapping it, making everyone laugh.

Then Castiel yawns.

The Darkness passes the kids in her arms to the older siblings and then goes over to Castiel and Gabriel.

"Here, I take him, this little guy needs to go to bed." Gabriel hands over Castiel.

"Goodnight Castiel." Gabriel says and kisses his brother's cheek. Darkness walks away, her tendrils of shadows swirling around her.
