Things are starting to get tense up in Heaven. Lucifer has been making a fuss. Trying to raise some of the brothers and sisters against their father, who was busy watching his creatures grow and prosper. The little fish evolving into the humans that were meant to be so much more beautiful and precious then his angels. They are meant to be pure and innocent to their very core. His humans filled with the same need to improve and learn. Oh yes, they were going to do wonders. God knew this, and waited for them to grow. He waited for that fish, which he named Adam, to develop into the human race. God is already busy working on creating his future humans mate. Blinded by work, God didn't pay attention to his angels. He asks them to watch over the earth and the creatures but especially the one that is turning human.
And Lucifer did not like this. He yearns and craves his father's love. The cursed key that is seared into him boiling and corrupting him with hate and jealousy. Moreover, Michael and Lucifer often were seen fighting, with Gabriel often catching them and listening to them. Their banter grew more tedious and slowly took away the joy that had been in Gabriel's heart. Lucifer has been trying to convince Gabriel to join him against their father. This has only pissed of Michael. Michael has been trying to keep Gabriel away from their manipulative brother. This has caused even greater arguments and even more so when Gabriel tries to keep his other siblings away from Lucifer's corruptible nature.
"Gabriel! Gabriel! Look! Look!" Castiel goes racing through the heavens searching for his brother, who was hiding deep in the garden. Castiel turns a corner and sees Gabriel surrounded by roses. He is molding something with antlers and a long face. It looks like a hulking creature.
"Hello, Gabriel! I found you!" Castiel giggles and hugs his brother from behind.
Gabriel smiles softly and lifts his hand up to pat Castiel's head. "Hey, Cassie, how are you doing?"
"Very well." Castiel smiles and pulls away from his older brother. Gabriel turns his head to look at Castiel and almost drops his mold.
"Castiel! What did you do to your wings?" Gabriel shouts looking at Castiel's gold painted wings, still dripping.
"I just painted my wing." Castiel smiles brightly and very proudly.
"And why did you?" Gabriel asks grinning at his younger brother.
"I find your wings very pleasing to look at."
Gabriel chuckles. "Thanks, but you shouldn't do that."
"But I want to be just like you."
Gabriel smiles instantly fade to a sadder shade. "Cassie, you don't want to be just like me."
Castiel frowns. "No! I want to be just like you, Gabriel! You're, you're, you're the best being in the whole universe! You are funny and kind! You are the best!" Castiel reaches out and hugs Gabriel.
Gabriel pulls him in close so he does not see the tears forming in his eyes. His hands become smeared with paint.
"I love you Gabriel." Castiel says and snuggles into Gabriel.
"Yeah, I love you too, Cassie. Now let's go clean up your wings." Gabriel lifts Castiel up and takes him to the clean purifying waters of the garden. There he gently cleans off the feathers revealing under the golden paint the beauty of Castiel dark shadow wings.
When they are done, Castiel shakes the water off his wings, soaking Gabriel from the spray. Gabriel laughs and uses his wings to keep the pelts from hitting him. He feels Castiel touching his wings.
"So pretty." Castiel says sweetly.
Gabriel moves his wings to look at his little brother. "Don't try to be me, Castiel. Stick to be yourself. You are pretty great too."
Castiel nods. "Okay, Gabriel."
"Let's go to dad, I want to see if he'll add this new creature to earth." Gabriel says holding up his mold.
"What are you going to call it?"
"I'm going to call it a moose."
Castiel giggles. "I like that."
Gabriel ruffles his head.
