Dieu Linh POV
I have a new job, it's a lasting one too. I get to become some guy's personal maid. I didn't mind, I've been a maid a lot of the time.
I walked up to the mansion doors and knocked. I stood there for a few seconds, before someone finally answered. It was another maid. "Oooh... Are you Dieu Linh ?" The maid asked, I nodded in reply. She grinned and pulled me inside. "My name's Khanh !" She exclaimed, pulling me upstairs. I was clinging onto my bag, trying not to drop it while I went face-first into a wall.
"Dieu Linh's here!" The blonde yelled as we walked into an office. There was a redhead standing at the window, he glanced back at us. "Rio, leave." She made an "Awww..." sound, before slowly making her way out of the room.
The redhead, who I guessed was Long or, my new master, circled around me a few times.He clapped his hands together and smiled. "You can stay in my room!" I put on a straight face and closed my eyes. "Or not... Okay..."
"Here's your room." He announced as we walked into a medium-sized room. I nodded and dropped my bag onto the floor. "Your uniform should be in your closet, you can start working tomorrow." He stated before walking out of the room finally.
I put on the uniform that was in my closet, and put my hair into a bun, leaving my bangs out. I sighed and turned towards the door.Khanh was standing there, grinning. "Do you need something?" I asked her, pushing past, and walking through the door. "I just wanted to give you some advice on Long here," She started, making me stop and turn towards her. "Go on."
"Well, you see. Long's a bit different, he doesn't use his maids. We just sit around and do nothing, unless he needs to talk to us or something." I blinked. "Are we seriously just here for him to talk to?" I asked her, she looked up at the ceiling for a moment, before nodding. "Pretty much..." When I finished mentally face palming, I started walking to his office.
I stepped into his office, making him look up from his work. "Sorry to interrupt. Is there anything you need me to do?" I asked him, he looked at me for a second. I nodded and walked up to his desk. "So is there anything?" He shook his head. "Unless you want to just stay in here for the rest of the day and do nothing, you can do whatever." He replied, turning his attention back to his work. "Okay..." I muttered in reply.
After fighting with myself on what to do, I just chose to stay in the office and lay on the couch. I mean, if I were to go out of the office, there would be nothing. Besides Khanh , who would probably just bother me.
Not realizing what I was doing, I fell asleep on the couch.
When I woke up again, I was surprisingly really comfortable. "Awe, are you awake?" I looked up, and saw Long looking back down at me.
Wait.
What?!
I jumped off the couch and ran across the room, he was laughing. "It's not funny!" I shouted, feeling my body start to warm up. He covered his mouth with his hand, trying to stop laughing. "Hey Die-" "I'm leaving!" I yelled, walking to the door.
"If you don't come over here, I'll fire you~"
Shit. I really need this job.
I took a deep breath, before turning back to him with a smile, and asking, "Yes?" He patted the spot next to him on the couch. I groaned inside as I walked over to the couch and sat down next to him. He grabbed the side of my head, and pushed my head down onto his lap again. He ran his fingers through my hair, eventually taking my bun out. "You're hair's better down." He stated. I didn't reply, just squeezed my eyes shut while he tugged at my hair.
