Rio's PoV
When I find out who did this, they won't be alive anymore.
WHO WOULD KILL ELIZABETH?!
I know it wasn't Karma. It couldn't possibly be Nagisa, she was asleep when it happened...
It wasn't me, I may hate her but I'm not going to kill her because I do.
The police came the next morning and asked us all questions, "Where were you when it happened?" "Is there anyone that didn't like her?" and more, that's just a portion of them.
After an entire day of answering questions, they gave us all smiles, before leaving.
Karma gave me the rest of the day off, but made Nagisa clean the bed.
It was odd though.
I know it wasn't me, and it wasn't Karma.
Was it actually Nagisa?
Nagisa's PoV
One of the officers held me back when they let us go, he asked me a few more questions, before nodding and writing down my answers. I watched him walk away, before shrugging and turning around. Karma was standing right in front of me. "Ready to go?" He asked with a smile, I nodded and linked arms with him.
While I was cleaning the bed, Karma watched me. "Nagisa, you killed her didn't you?" He asked me, I turned around confused. He was casually sitting in his chair, grinning at me. "I-I don't know what you're talking about..." I stuttered, furrowing my eyebrows. "The police found evidence it was you." He stated, patting his leg.
"I... I don't remember killing her..." I whimpered, while walking over to him and sitting down on his lap. He wrapped his arms and me and lightly kissed my neck. "It's okay." He whispered and hugged me.
It's been about a year since all of that stuff with Elizabeth happened. Yes, she is dead, but Rio was really depressed for a long time. She just recently got out of it. I was happy for her.
But... When she figured out it was me, she didn't talk to me for weeks. Eventually I explained what happened to her, how I didn't know and all. She was really understanding.
At least I thought...
I was doing the usual cleaning around the house, when I heard someone knock on the front door. rio got there before me of course, but who was standing there surprised me. There was a girl with long black hair, purple eyes,really pale, and she was taller than me.
What the.
"I need to see Karma..." She muttered out, putting some of her hair behind her ear. Rio and I looked at each other, before shrugging and letting her in. We led her up to Karma's office, it was quiet. None of us asked why she was here, but when we got to his office, she just bowed slightly, smiling at us. "Arigato."
We watched her step into the office, before there was a lot of excited talking. Most of it was in Karma's voice too.
Rio and I went back down to the first floor, before we sat down in the living room. We just stared at the ground a little, before looking up at each other. "Do you know who she is?" I asked, she shook her head. "Do you?" She questioned me, I shook my head as well.
About ten, twenty minutes later, Karma and the girl walked down the stairs. Their arms were linked, making my heart break a little inside. "This is Okuda, she's going to be staying here for a while." They unlinked their arms, as she bowed, then stood back up straight. Karma was watching her the entire time, smiling. I felt my heart shatter as he did.
