I sipped on my hot chocolate as Jae gave me a lecture. "Honestly, i think you need to move out." Jae looked me directly in the eye with concern, "to protect yourself."
"Protect myself?" I took another sip.
"I don't want to see you get hurt." Jae put his hand on my knee. "I'm being serious. These guys have very devoted fans and they will shred you to pieces if they find out. I don't how much it will ruin their reputation but yours may get destroyed."
I sat there thinking, "I'll take my chances, I really don't have a choice Jae."
"Just remember if anything happens I'm here for ya. But, somethings are irreversible and I can't fix them for you."
"I know Jae, I'll stay safe." I let out a sigh.
Jae looked down at his watched, "Well i gotta get going, Y/N. I'll let myself out and text me, ok?" He put his cup on the coffee table before getting up and I did the same so I could give him a hug goodbye.
"Have a safe trip back ok," I let him go.
Jae just nodded and gave me a smile before walking off. As he walked down the stairs he waved to me. I waved back as I watched him disappear. I sat back down contemplating what Jae said to me. My head hung down looking at my feet.
'Honestly what could go wrong?' I thought to myself shaking off the thought. I felt someone sit down next to me. I looked over to see Yoongi holding a mug of steaming liquid with the remote in his other hand changing what i was originally watching with Jae.
"What do you think you're doing?" I questioned him.
"What's it look like I'm doing?" He questioned me back, "I'm going to change it to something good cause you have poor taste."
"You wouldn't know if something was entertaining if it hit you in the face," I scoffed at him finishing my hot chocolate.
"I don't know entertainment, this coming from the girl who doesn't listen to music and was watching a cheaply produced teen movie?"
"I listen to music," I replied back. "Just because i don't know your little band doesn't mean I don't know good music when I hear it."
"What do you listen to then, other than Disney?"
"You got a problem with Disney?"
"Well, I'm not a child, so." He took a sip of his drink.
All I could respond back with was a death glare, "Is there something wrong with being a kid at heart?"
"Yeah, you never learn to grow up."
"Well, maybe, you need to learn to grow down." i cringe at the words that i said.
He looked at me confused, "Do you listen to the words that come out of your mouth?"
"This was the first time." I let out a slight, awkward laugh, "but, let's get back to the subject. I listen to groups like the Chainsmokers, DNCE, Cake, 21 Pilots, Fall Out Boy to name a few."
He just looked at with a blank face and nodded his head but it was obvious something was running through his brain. "Okay, bye." Yoongi quickly got up and headed towards his bedroom with his mug.
I was puzzled by his abrupt actions, 'why did he sit down just to ask one simple question. How is it possible to hate someone but then to turn around and try to get along them? The people in this house are very strange.' i thought to myself as i sighed in disbelief. I placed my fingertips on my temples and rubbed them gently trying to subside the oncoming headache.
I stood up turning off the tv and grabbing mine and Jae's mugs to take back down to the kitchen. While rinsing out the cups i heard the front door open followed by some groans and bags rustling. Turning off the water i was curious to see who it was. Poking my head around the corner i could see Jin holding a whole bunch of grocery bags.
"That's a lot more than i told you to buy?" I looked at him questionably as i walked towards the entrance to help carry in the bags.
Jin placed his coat in the closet, "Uh, yeah, i got excited and started looking at some recipes." He laughed as he scratched the back of his head.
