"What is the colour of happiness? Is it green, the one that brings life into everything? Is it yellow, like that of autumn that brings beauty in all things that have lost it? Or perhaps is it white, that lets all colours shine beside it?What is the smell of happiness? Is it that of damp grass after the first shower of late spring? Or is it the scent of a person you hold so dear left on all your clothes?
And if only you could hear it, what would be the sound of happiness? Would it be laughter that comes from the pit of your stomach? Or perhaps the one that comes from others'?
And dare I ask, what must it be to feel happiness?"
A knock on the door. "Dinner's served, love."
She puts her pen down.
