Defeated but yet they continue to wage this battle upon us, this war cannot end and will properly come to its conclusion with the eradication of either race. I am back being the commander of the king’s private army a new private army as the last died in the Kalhin-Ali’kian wars well all but one,

“Tayovason… we’re ready to land.” I come out of my own world and look at Jason, the man that I’ve grown to hate these past years, his son mortally wounded in an attack and saved by Avenji but yet, he still loathes the wolf just for putting a bullet in a dying bitch’s head.

“Hmm… indeed, then you shall land and we shall lay waste to them all.” The military base knows were here and that means the scientists will be hidden somewhere beyond our reach or that is what they’ll believe until I plunge a knife into their throats,

“So you wish to be a warmonger like Ares then?”

“I am the one who claimed that title with him Jason, now land this fucking thing or gods help me I’ll kill you harshly and land it myself.” He laughs nervously and the helicopter softly comes to land and we get out guns-blazing and death dealing, the elven rejects feel the weight of the war fully come upon them, I’ll soon connect the winning blow to them and they’ll stare into the mass graves and weep whilst I laugh,

“Commander, how are we getting inside?” The half elf boy speaks to me, his Injex mask showing his personality with a calavera, a queer thing from Ali’kian festivals that I’ve never truly enjoyed but still attend out of some personal awe that I’ve never quite understood.

“I need you and Feredir to stay out here and destroy the resistance, I’d like Jason to man the machine gun and Zachary I would like you to stay with me.”

“And we’ll crush them all, commander?” Blondey says in his annoyed voice,

“Indeed… now let’s get on with it.” Blondey and I have assault rifles whilst, the mage has his staff with his carbine rifle upon a strap dangling. The elf has a bow, odd I suppose but he knows how to wield it better than I do a firearm and I was born through their creation,

“Remember we need Rielk alive.” I sigh and look back at the pilot. The Maderm’s forces hold the line so that we do not become holey,

“Yes, of course I do now stay your tongue and allow me to direct this operation without you flapping your gums to a cacophony.” I snarl and the pilot hides behind the mounted gun. I walk towards the thick of the battle, in front of large doors of the fort. An old prison in the fourth era, the era of the werewolf… blood of wolves filled these halls and Senim blood will paint the walls. “Come on Zachary let’s get started.” We rush to a short wall, men of both sides engaged in battle, blood staining snow and the temperature below zero in the mountains. I’ve been here before when they erected this and the screams of children resonate through my head, I can remember and I wish I couldn’t.

“So what exactly are we doing?”

“Reconnoitre we need to think of how to destroy this hell hole.” He looks at me with added surprise,

“Do you know what will happen if you blow this up!” It looks as though his brain is about to explode,

“Of course I do, but we’re on their land, we destroy this we cover the surrounding towns, villages and cities in snow and rubble killing thousands and stopping the flow of soldiers.”

“They are innocent people, women and children…” I get angered by that,

“Is that what you class as innocent, helpless women and fool children, but I’ve seen weak men and strong children, women who’ve destroyed towns just because they can.”
