Chapter 6
The First Target
I awoke the very next day to my phone going off and I sat up and reached for my phone and looked at it and I heard someone near me that wasn’t Benji,I turned to my side to see another girl in the bed next to me and it honestly scared me. I stood up and backed away towards the door, no one ever had told me about getting a roommate..I didn’t try to wake her up instead I got dressed into my day clothes and stepped out of the dorms area to go to the main entrance and I noticed a map pinned to the wall and took a look at it and I saw “eating center” and that made me hungry.As I headed down to the eating area I couldn’t help but wonder who that girl was.
I entered the room to hear maybe a dozen conversations.This reminds me of going to the living room back at home,listening to mom and dad talk about who knows what,little sister and brother arguing and i’m just the pawn in that group that stays quiet and listen.I took a deep breath and entered the room and began to walk towards the west side of the room,where i could see the food at.”Where’s Leon when you need him” I thought as I looked at all the food. Most of these dishes I’ve never even heard of. Everyone's Phones-I mean everyone’s handbooks except for mine beeped and they all looked at theirs and I look back at the food and out of the reflection of the glass I see most of the people look at me quickly with a grin then get up and leave the room.
I feel like something’s going to happen to me.
