"How could this happen to me? Why did I let this happen to him?"

"He didn't deserve to die, I did- I deserve to die I left him for dead and I can never forgive myself-"

Warden looked like a mess seeing Onceler so upset in the car. The sun had finally set as they drove. He put his hand on his thigh for a minute. "O-Onceler... please I know this is so hard but he was only a p-pet-" he didn't mean to make it sound so harsh. Onceler grit his teeth angrily at him.

"No the fuck he wasn't- shut up David you'll never understand- You don't know what it's like to never make your family proud- Melvin was all I had and now he's gone-" he said. Warden took his hand off his thigh. He looked down at his lap.

"I was trying to help-"

"Well you aren't helping David!" He yelled back. "You have no idea how that feels-" he said angered. Warden looked down.

"Yes I do- That was everyday of my life." He said blankly. Onceler looked back over at Warden and his anger seemed to disappear. Wardens eyes watered with a blank stare down at his lap. Onceler felt bad for yelling at him. They were both going through a lot. This whole situation was terrible and a lot. They continued to drive for god knows how long, and they only had so much gas left. If they ran out of gas Onceler wouldn't know what he'd do. They continued driving for a pretty long time, longer then he wanted to.

They ran into what looked like an RV trailer park. He parked the car and walked outside letting Warden stay in the car. He looked around for a moment. Not a single person in site.

He wanted to quickly act fast and went into the main office area, where he was able to find open keys for an RV. He had quickly grabbed them and held them in his hand tightening his grip on them smiling. He had Warden gather all their belongings and put it into their new truck. Warden did it without saying a word either. He got into the drivers seat of the car and look down at their lap. Greed filled it with whatever he could to keep them going. But then warden started to cry, sob actually. Everything Warden ever had was gone, everything besides what was in his backpack, and any dreams he had for the future. Onceler felt terrible for yelling at the poor thing.

"D-David I'm sorry..." he said softly and looked up at Warden with a sad stare. He returned it with soft tears before Onceler pulled his face forward for a soft kiss on the lips. "I promise we will be safe.." he said gently.

Before the both knew it something slammed onto their RV again. Warden put on his seat beat fast and began to feel his eyes water. He was never this scared in his life thinking the undead would kill them, but the funny part about it was it wasn't the undead at all, it was infected people who would stop at nothing to kill anything in their path.

Onceler acted fast and ran over whatever hit their RV, he assumed was a walker for the loud yelling it was making. Walker, he shouldn't nickname them that since those things could sure as hell run fast. He drove their RV for hours upon hours tying to find a place to stay for the night. He drove till he thought he had found a remote place and parked. He locked the doors and the windows quickly and shut all their curtains. The RVs windows and doors would hold much more strongly then Greeds old car doors would. Which meant they were safe inside.

Onceler unpacked blankets and pillows that would help comfort them when they were asleep. They had electricity which was very nice but could easily give themselves away. Warden helped unpack their things and noticed a pistol in the bag, he took it out of their safety bag and looked it over. It had exactly 5 shots to it.

"Babe what's this..?" Warden asked softly seeing Oncelers head turn around.

"I wanted to give that to you.. it's a safety pistol.. use it only in emergencies.. those walker things can hear you if you shoot a gun so only use it when you absolutely have to.." he said softly and rubbed his cheek. Warden put it back down carefully to make sure not to loose it. They arranged their bed into a safe like nest and turned their nights off using a gas lantern. He turned it on low and had Warden get in first and then himself softly. They slept undressed as Greed slowly got on top of him a little more in a protective way kissing his head slowly and snuggled up close. "Goodnight love.. tomorrow's another day.." he said softly and rubbed his cheeks slowly and gently.

All Onceler hoped for was to get through all this. He wanted Warden and him to live their dream, it sounded wonderful.

Almost as wonderful as imaging their wedding, if they ever were to marry in the future.

He closed his eyes to the peaceful thoughts with a soft smile as well as Warden who slept just as peacefully.

But what Onceler said seemed to stick to him.

5 bullets.. but for what? What would I do shoot people? I don't think I could ever shoot a person..

I'm too sane for that..

But I'm only human..
