Riiiiinggg! The loud alarm began going off at 6:30 in the morning as jasmine looks over rolling her eyes at the alarm clock turning it off she wraps back up under the covers saying to herself "only 5 more minutes won't hurt" as she closes her eyes .
Only to hear 2 minutes later her mom yelling from the other room "Jazz getcha ass up right now I'm not taking you too school you get up to Jordan so you can get her there on time".
Jordan is my older brother he is 21 and I am 18 this is my last year in high school and my brother takes me to school often in the mornings since I don't have a bus nor do I have my license.He takes me and my Best friend Kiki since she lives about a block away,I live in South Carolina in a rough part of town called Backwoods. It's where all the thugs be at and all the hoes ,crack heads, abandon buildings you name it and I don't want to be around it anymore.
As I am taking a shower I start humming to the song on my speaker that I connected to my Bluetooth on my iPhone ."GIVE YOU A TASTE OF YOUR OWN MEDICINEEEEE!" I sang loudly along with queen to her new song she had out .
"Luh girl shut up n hurry up n wash yo stankin ass so we can go" Jordan said as he was banging on the bathroom door.
Rolling my eyes I yelled back "shut the fuck up you mad yo big head ass can't sing". As I continued to get ready I came down stairs to see my brother watching t.v he sees me standing at the bottom of the stairs and says "you finally ready ?"
"Yes smart ass ,let's go " I replied as we both
walked out the house and into the car
We drove for a minute in silence because of how tired we were I mean can you blame us it was Monday but that only lasted a minute until we got to Kiki's.
"Heyy y'all ..what took y'all so long ?" Kiki said as she was entering the back seat
"Ask ya friend who wanted to have a damn concert in the shower " said Jordan
"What ever it was one song ..anyway we not gonna be late " I said knowing how my brother drives he can get us anywhere quick.
"Soo Jazz what's the move for Saturday girl " Kiki said
As I turned around in the passenger side to face her I said "I don't know what's going on Saturday "
"Girl you ain't heard ?? Chris is having a kick back"
"Nah I ain't know that but I guess..."
"Nah that's dead "Jordan says cutting me off
"But whyyy jordiee "I whined to him really salty .
"Because I said you not luh girl you ain't goin to be in there shaking ya ass " he said
As I just stared out the window mad
"Jordan you ain't her daddy chill on her ...she ain't been to one in a while and I think she deserves it " Kiki says chiming in
Jordan looks at her with his eyes cut at her and says "nah y'all can go to the next one tho ..we here hurry up and get out so I can get back to the crib"
"Alright then see you later grumpy ...love you punk "I said shutting the door .
Aight love you too he says as he's pulling off
"Damn what got him in a mood "Kiki said
"Girl who knows you know he ain't a morning person plus all he do is talk shit when he feel like it or atleast when he tired "
"Yea you right ...but you know we still going to that party right forget what Jordan said " Kiki said
" I know he just don't want me to go cuz he don't like Chris fr and he knows that he got a luh crush on me " I said smiling.
