This story is about a teenage girl in her senior year of high school by the name of jasmine .she is trying to make it out the hood she currently lives in but with so much drama going on can she leave and move on
A FEW DAYS LATER .. JASMINE(POV) It was Saturday and I had been sleeping all morning when I finally woke up it was 1:00 pm I rubbed my eyes as I was walking down stairs. I smelled something good when I was walking through the living room to the kitchen. I seen my mom in the kitchen cooking pancakes and eggs since we all had woken up late. It must be her off day because by this time she'd usually be at work my mom was a home health aid so she was always on call. As I walked in I took a seat at the table watching her Cook as she was listening to music humming along to the tune.
"Well Goodmorning Jaz" she said turning around facing me
"Goodmorning"I said
"What's new what you got planned today" my mom said
"Nothing I'm going to hang out with my friends later"
Your friends who? And what time?
Rolling my eyes I replied "with Kiki and Tamika and around 8 pm"
"Ohh all right , well the foods done and I'm heading up stairs I'm leaving soon"
Okay I responded dryly as I was focusing on my breakfast after my mom went up stairs my brother came down.
"Ayye wasup I heard you lien ta mom talm bout you finna hang out wit ya friends" Jordan said
"Boy I ain't lie" I said pushing him
"You ain't tell ha where tho" Jordan said
"Yea, soo you know where imma be"I said shrugging my shoulders
"Yea you gone be right at the crib wit ya luh friends hanging out " he said
Yea okay Jordan I said as I exited the room
LATER IN THE DAY I was getting ready for the party on FaceTime with Kiki ,asking her what she thinks I finally came to a decision on a black crop top with blue high waisted jeans.
"Finally bitch takin all day"Kiki huffed into the phone
Laughing I replied "beauty takes time"

"Girl imma go out the back door he in his room sleep right now" I replied as I was putting on lip gloss.
"Aight imma text Tamika and see if she on the way"Kiki said as she paused the FaceTime to text Tamika
Five minutes later Tamika pulled up in front of my house ,creeping down the stairs I walked as quietly as I could.walking through the kitchen I tried not to make the floor creak as I quickly ran out the back door . Reaching Tamikas car we all pulled off on our way to the party. Arriving at the party we came in and it was lit already everybody was there the lights were dim and the music was bumpin.
