Chapter 7

JAZMINE
I had been at Chris house all night while we were watching movies we fell asleep and I ended up spending the night over there. I had him drop me off soon as I woke up,knowing my mom and Jordan wouldn't be to happy when I got home I prepared myself for the worst. As I crept into the house and tried closing the door slowly it began squeaking really loud as I bit down on my bottom lip nervously I hurriedly shut the door all they way. As soon as I turned around I was greeted by my mom with one of her brows raised and her arms folded across her chest she said.

"Mmhmm busted where the hell you been"

"Momma I'm soo sorry I was with Chris last night I lost track of time we watched movies and I fell asleep"

"Yea u lost track of time alright it's fucking 9 a.m Jazmine and you didn't even answer any of my calls"

"I'm sorry momma I was sleep it was an accident it won't happen again"

"Yea I know it won't happen again cuz u not taking ya fast ass ova there no more"

"Momma I'm sorry don't do this"

"This is nothing you lucky I ain't knock ya luh ass out now go upstairs"

As I rolled my eyes I headed upstairs to my room and closed the door I changed into some sweats and a t shirt after my shower,I turned on the t.v and began binge watching Netflix.
5 minuets into watching Netflix I hear a knock at my room door I look over and say come in.
In walks Jordan he looked at me and said

"I heard momma yelling atchu, you gotta get it together"

"But Jordie she was trippin it wasn't that serious when you did shit like that she neva said anything"

"Yea ik but you not me you her luh girl in her eyes so she is more strict on you and she feels disrespected by you when you was gone all night and not answering her calls she was just worried, look all I'm sayin is chill on that try not to make her worry she stresses out enough"

" I hear you thanks Jordan"

"Yea Yea you welcome punk but I'm finna head out n go visit one of my niggas in the hospital"

"Aight see you lata jordie"

JORDAN
After my little talk with jazz I headed down the stairs and grabbed my keys as I was about to walk out the door when my mom stopped me
"Hey Jordan come here a minute"

"Wasup momma what's wrong"

" Jordan I want you to promise me you will watch Jazz she's getting older and I worry about her I'm not around enough To see what's going on since I work a lot I just don't want her to get hurt be there for her when I'm not here"

"I gotchu momma you know I wouldn't let nun happen" I said giving her an assured look

"Thank you, I love you son"

"Love you too" I replied as I continued to be on my way.

I was walking to my car and I felt like I was being watched so I looked behind me as I was crossing the street to my car. I ain't see nobody lurkin or anything maybe a nigga just paranoid I shrugged it off and got in the car. I turned on the car and pulled off putting in my aux listen to some Nba young boy on my way to the hospital.

After driving for about 15minutes I pulled up to the hospital and went inside I walked straight up to the front desk and asked for Jay she told me the room number as I thanked her and headed in there.

Jay was laying in the hospital bed with his arm wrapped up lookin at the t.v as I walked in I dabbed em up.

"What up Jay"

"What up my nigga"

"How you holdin up in here"

"I'm straight I should be outta here in 2 more days"

"That's good,man we gone get West n dem niggas"

"On me just wait till a nigga back on his feet"

WEST
I had been in my all black Cadillac just chillin and waitin smokin a blunt watching that luh nigga Jordan I found out where he lives. I had just seen him pull off lookin around with his scary ass he must've felt a nigga presence.As I was about to pull off I seen a nice looking older women walking out the house it must have been his mom. I made note of that just Incase his luh ass wanna pop off I pulled off real slow.

JAZMINE
I had gotten tired of watching Netflix movies and decided to hang wit Tamika since I ain't talk to her like that.She knocked on the door as I came down stairs to answer it when I opened the door we gave each other a hug. We went up to my room and began talking about everything and gossiping.

" I can't believe ya moms was trippin like dat"

"Girl yess, but enough about me Mika what you been up too lately yo ass been to quiet"

" nothing fr me n Meech just been doing us u know we stay booed up"

"Yea you right"

"But girl I'm glad you told me to come over because I got sumn serious I need to tell you"

"What's wrong Mika?"

"Well me n Meech been having sex and my period hasn't came for a while I think I'm pregnant"

"Bitchh what have you taken a pregnancy test?"

"Not yet but I bought one on my way ova here"

" okayy use it real quick and we'll wait"

"Alright"

Tamika went to the restroom to take the test she took two at the same time when she was finished we waited and continued to talk.After about 10 minutes later we went to go check it.

"Jazz I'm scared to look"

"I know but you have to look to b sure"

She walked in the bathroom and looked at it laying on the counter. "It's two lines jazz I'm pregnant" she said beginning to cry

I gave her a hug and rubbed her back " Girl it's gonna be okay I'm here for you"

"I know but I'm scared how Meech gonna act when I tell him ?what if he  leaves me ?"she cried

"He will not leave you I will whoop his ass if he even tries" I said

"I sure hope he won't this is too much I'm to young to be a mom"

" I know but you gotta stay strong me and Kiki gonna support you we sisters boo"

"Thanks boo but I gotta go I got a lot to think about"

"Okay Mika be safe"

JORDAN AND JAZMINES MOM (JANET)
It was 2:00a.m I was walking back to my car in my scrubs tired from work I clicked the unlock button on my car keys putting my things in the passenger side. As soon as I was about to get in the car a man pulled up next to me in a black Cadillac he was a handsome heavy set man he began speaking to me
"Ma'am you dropped this"he said handing me my wallet

I smiled saying "thank you so much"

"Your welcome beautiful" he said winking at me

I flashed a small smile and got in my car something about the way that man stared at me made me feel uncomfortable. I shook it off and pulled out of the hospital parking lot.
