There she was sat, in front of the mirror while Jill stood in front of her applying the makeup to her face. She'd giggle every time the brush would tickle her face, making her scrunch up her nose. Her hair flowed perfectly down her back, just ending at the middle of the center of it. I was sat on the couch behind her, staring at her reflection in the mirror. Her eyes landing on me in the mirror, the cutest smile spreading across her face. I giggled before pulling my phone out and going onto my camera app.
"Demetria," I cooed, holding my phone up so that it was facing her. I watched her eyes look back at my reflection, another smile curling on her lips as I snapped a picture. I opened my Twitter app and started typing out a new tweet.
@Mxganx: watching @ddlovato getting glamoured up for you guys #tourlife
I attached the photo I had taken to it and posted it, watching my mentions blow up with crazy die hard fans. The tweets were varying from random letters in caps lock, and some were fans yelling at me to post more. Or there was the hate that never got to me. I smiled as I scrolled through my mentions. I used to be just like them. I remember staying up every night just to get caught up in the drama, and now I'm sitting in a dressing room with her. None of this is actually happening, and I'm going to be waking up from my dream anytime soon. I've had a ton of dreams like this before, so this ought to be one too.
I refreshed my notifications bar and saw a reply from Demi come in.
@ddlovato: watching @Mxganx ignore me while she goes on Twitter............ HAHAHAHA
Along with a picture of my reflection in the mirror. I smiled and glanced up at Demi to see the smile curling at the ends of her lips.
"That's the worst photo of me ever!" I argued, making Jill stop what she was doing on Demi's face and look over at me.
"Well, that's what happens when you post a photo of me." Demi laughed, before Jill continued adding more makeup.
"I hate you, Lovato." I joked, crossing my arms over my chest in a joking way. I heard a chuckle come out of Demi's mouth.
"You know you love me, Davis." I rolled my eyes, and shook my head.

I stood on the side of the stage while I watched Demi run around the stage, bright lights shinning on her. I listened to the loud audience, her fans waving whatever type of thing that emitted light in the crowd. The smile on my face never left as I noticed how much fun she was having. She was doing was she loved doing, and I was so proud of her.
"Hey." I was taken away from my trance of thoughts when Natalie had stood beside me.
"Oh, hey." I smiled, my eyes focusing on her instead. I've really only talked to Natalie a few times, so this was weird.
"I see the way you look at her." Natalie said, her eyes looking over at Demi on stage who was sat in front of a piano, while she sang 'Warrior.' "It's not the way I or Marissa look at her."
I furrowed my eyebrows at her, slightly tilting my head at her. "What do you mean?"
"What I mean is that you don't look at her in the type of way that a friend would." She noted, looking back over at me as Demi's powerful and emotional voice rang through backstage, making it harder to hear each other.
"I don't know what you're talking about. But, Demi and I are friends, so you're out of your mind if you're thinking of something else." I gave her a look before looking back toward the stage.
"You love her. Don't deny it." Natalie stated, an annoying smile tugging at her lips.
"Yeah, as a friend. And she was my idol since 2008, why wouldn't I love her? She saved my life." I chuckled at Natalie's stupidity, shaking my head at her. If Demi mentioned anything to Natalie about us trying out this whole dating thing, I'll kill her.
"I know you guys are friends, but the way you look at her is different." And with that, she turned away and got lost somewhere backstage.
"Whatever." I mumbled to myself before Demi ran passed me and grabbed the closest water bottle, nearly drinking the whole thing in one swallow. Sweat dripped off the ends of her hair, as she took heavy breaths to try and catch her breath.
"You rocked that stage, superstar." I giggled, walking over to her. She took another deep breath before bringing the water bottle up to her mouth and swallowing the rest of the remaining water.
Once she caught her breath, she smirked at me, and I knew she had an idea come to her mind. "And now that I'm all sweaty and gross, I can do this."
Before I had time to react her arms were wrapped tightly around me, probably making my clothes all wet and sweaty. Letting out a quiet scream, I wiggled out of her grip and moved away from her.
"That's disgusting, Demi. Fuck you." I said shaking my head at her. Her loud laugh echoed throughout backstage, before turning away and making her way back to her dressing room.
She was so beautiful, I really don't understand it. I love her so much. Maybe this dating thing will work out. Maybe.
