Chapter 3

Audition time!!!

Monday morning. Doyen went back to her house but we were going to meet again  .

9:30
I was getting ready for the audition. After I showered I decided to wear something simple : a white shirt and some black leggings .
I decided to wear simple makeup too : tinted moisturiser , eyeliner and lip tint .
10:00
We ( the family ) were having breakfast. We had porridge and honey . Somi was texting the Samuel guy ( again ) smiling and I was watching a BTS crack video.
"Strong power thank you"

I found Doyeon at the audition waiting outside .
"Park Soyoung! Park Soyoung! You can do this dongsaeng ! Hwaiting ! I will bet you a BTS poster that you will pass that fricking audition! You can do this dongsaeng!!!" That's What she said to me before dragging me inside the venue.

there weren't as many people as I thought there would be. I thought it'd be PACKED but it just looked like a school get ready for assembly: chatter every where , messy , confusing

Doyeon pushed pass the queue of people who seemed too nervous to see what was happening. I wasn't  'heart out of chest' nervous I was 'sweating and shaking' nervous . They may seem like the same thing but trust me. They're not.

I got my label sticker thing . They told me to stick it on my chest

After what seemed like forever of moving forward, sitting and waiting it was finally my turn to audition. Well not that I actually wanted to do the audition...

Around  4 people from my row were told to stand up in a line and go in the audition room.

Auditioner : hello today we will be auditioning you. Good luck hwaiting!

The first girl was called Kang Soojin  and she was 17, she was going to sing rock a bye by Anne Marie. She was fluent in English ... Maybe she was English ? Thy stopped her half way when she hit the high notes . She sounded to forced and strained

Auditioner : ok thank you NEXT !

The second boy was named Park  Youngjae he was going to dance and he was 17 years . He did Wanna One Burn it up . His moves were WAYYYYY too forced ( not the guy in the vid I'm just using it as a example )

Auditioner : ok thank you NEXXTTT!

Next person was meeeee I'm not ready I'm not ready I'm not ready I'm shaking I'm not readyyy......
Auditioner : What is your name?
Me: Park s-Soyoung
Auditioner : how old are you?
Me: 14 years old
Auditioner: What will you do today?
Me: dan...cing

They didn't stop meee why why why why why

Auditioner: please stay after they go
Me: ok...?

The girl after me was called Go Inhye , 15 years old ,( name from one of my other fave author nim called snowflakesonmylaptop ) she was going to rap AOA Jimin Puss

She rapped until IRON's bit . The judges seemed to like her - well I seemed to like her but the judges told her to try out for a different company ... I managed to get her kakaotalk later ...
watching the people after me perform I felt tinglyish I don't know why maybe because I kept on replaying the scene where the judges smiled at my performance and said some things in Korean that I couldn't hear .

After every one left It was now just me in the room.

Auditioner: ok thank you for the performance can you sing something Kpop ?
*yess I knew the song would come in handy*
Me: uhh yes
After u&i
After that they told me to describe how I felt about the choice for becoming a k-idol
Me: I'd love to! I definitely take the chance b-because then I will do my best and ins- inspire lots of people out there in the world. I ... will work hard to achieve my dream --... which is also being a k-idol and I will make my fans happy !
I saw them giving glances at each other and nodded . "Okay you may go now"
Me: have a good day ?....
After the audition
"What took you so long??"
"They told me to stay and sing u&i"
"That's a good sign" Doyeon smirked

2 day time lapse

It was Wednesday after noon and I had just finished school and was on the bus heading home when I got a e-mail.

"Congralutions on passing the SM audition! You will not need to go to round two instead we will give you tickets to fly to Korea and join our company as soon as possible .you should receive another email regarding the details in a 3 days time. Should you not please message us on our private chat. Please email back immediately If you decline our offer."

Yall NCT Dream go live is killing me ... Renjun is sooo goddamn pretty and Haechan literally doesn't look like Haechan any more. My bruddahs have grown up sooo much I'm proud !
