Vegeta x Female Saiyan Reader (UNDERGOING EDITING)

Chapter 4

     You stopped mid-air and looked back to where you had left Goku. You felt his energy dropping like a stone off a cliff. You clenched your fists.
     "We have to go back." You say turning.
     "But Goku told us to leave. We'll only get in the way." Krillin said.
     You glared at him. "And you call yourself his best friend. Whatever, I'll go by myself." You felt a hand on your arm and look to see Gohan.
     "I'm coming too." He said.
     You smiled and placed a hand on his head. "Piccolo would be proud. Now let's go." The both of you flew off, Krillin following after cursing to himself.
     Once you go back, you saw Vegeta had transformed into his Giant Ape form and was squeezing the life out of Goku. You saw Yajirobe and ran up, taking his sword.
     "Hey! What's the big idea!?" He yelled.
     "You have to cut off his tail. That's the only way you can defeat him in the form he's in now." You ran up to Vegeta, cutting off his tail. Once he was back to his normal form, he looked for the person who had cut off his tail.
     "(S/N)." He growled dangerously and started walking towards you. "To think, that you and Kakrot would humiliate me of all people."
     "To think I used to consider you a friend." You say, throwing down the sword, getting into a battle stance.
     "Why would be friends with such low class filth?" Vegeta said, getting into his stance.
     "Hmph." You smirk slightly. "I guess I could say the same, huh?"
     In a blind rage, Vegeta went to attack you but you jumped behind him and kicked him in the back, sending him into a mountain. "Kame..." You said charging up your attack. "Hame... HAAAA!!" You sent the attack straight towards Vegeta, who just barely dodged it, the attack grazing his shoulder.
     He appeared beside you and spin kicked you in the stomach, sending you flying towards Goku.
     "(S- S/N).." Goku said weakly. You look up at him. "Come here..."
     You weakly crawled over to your brother. "Yeah Goku?"
     "Take this." He grabbed your hand, transferring a massive energy to your hand. "It's the energy I managed to gather for the Spirit Bomb. Use it to defeat Vegeta."
     You nodded and stood, facing your once friend. "I trusted you all those years ago." You say, an image of you and Vegeta laughing together as children flashing in your mind. Tears came to your eyes as you look down at your hand. "I guess I was a fool."
     Vegeta was approaching you, an unreadable look on his face. Luckily, Gohan distracted him and he turned to face your nephew. Without another word or thought, you threw the spirit bomb at Vegeta, the attack hitting him square on the back.
     He fell to the ground, a bloodied mess. He sat up, pulling out his control to call his Saiyan Pod to him. Once it landed, he weakly crawled to it. Krillin grabbed Yajirobe's sword and walked to him, about to stab him.
     "No!" You shout at Krillin. He looked at you, surprised by your opposition. To be honest, you were surprised with yourself. He killed your friends, he almost killed you. Why would you oppose his death?
     "But, (S/N), he killed our friends. He almost killed you! Why keep him alive?" Krillin argued.
     "I revel the thought of kicking Veggie's ass another day." You say, a smirk creeping it's way upon your face.
     Vegeta laughed. "I revel the challenge. I just know you're going to get stronger." Vegeta said, crawling into his space pod.
     Krillin put down the sword and let Vegeta leave, the door to his pod closing. It took off and left the atmosphere, disappearing into space.
     A little bit afterwards, another ship landed, and Chi-Chi ran out of it. She ran right by you and Goku, and straight to Gohan. To be honest, you were a little irked that she ignored her husband of all people, but let it go.
     As you all talked in the ship, Yajirobe mentioned how Goku was Chi-Chi's husband and she should pay attention to him.
     She mentioned how he 'put her baby boy in danger' and didn't pay him any mind.
     "Look Chi-Chi, you can be mad at Goku later. But right now, you're lucky he's alive. So pay some attention to your husband." You say, taking your nephew into your hands.
     You smile down at Gohan, hugging him. "You were such a great fighter Gohan. Piccolo would be proud."
     "That monster has nothing to do with this." Chi-Chi said.
     "That monster also sacrificed himself to save your child. So show Piccolo some respect and quit being so damn bitchy for once." You say, irritated by Chi-Chi's attitude.
     Chi-Chi gave you a look of shock, but then she quickly frowned, crossing her arms and looking away from you.

     Later you were all in the hospital. Goku's whole body being bandaged, and just a few places bandaged on yours. Krillin had mentioned the Namekian dragon balls earlier, and you were all trying to figure out a way to go to Namek and get them.
     Bulma mentioned they could use one of the crashed Saiyan ships. Funnily enough, on TV, there were scientists speaking of said Saiyan ship. So she pulled out the remote, pressed a button, and the ship blew up.
     You just stared at the screen, which was now just static. "Hold on, I think I hear the ship coming this way." You say as Bulma stares at the screen in horror.
    Just then, you hear something at the window and you look to see a genie looking person on a carpet. He mentions that we could probably use Kami's old ship. And of course, we elect Bulma to go. She frightfully climbs onto the carpet with the genie person and they disappear.
     About 15 minutes later, they returned and Bulma had a huge smile on her face.
     "Guys I think it'll work! I'll have to translate the Namekian to English and fix it up a little but I think it'll work!"
     "You're forgetting Bulma, we have no idea where this Namek even is." You say, crossing your arms.
     "I'm sure King Kai would know." Goku said. "Hey King Kai." Goku looked up at the ceiling.
     "Um, I think that fight with Vegeta may have knocked a couple screws loose." You say, giving your weird brother a look of confusion.
     "No King Kai is the one I trained with in the other world. He watches over our galaxy." Goku replied, giving you a glare.
     "You're not wrong, (S/N). But he's not crazy this time.
     "Well Goku's injured, so who did you have in mind?"
     You looked at Krillin and Gohan, a smile on your faces. "Well you, Krillin are my first pick. And Gohan is my-"
     "Oh no. No no NO! Gohan is not going anywhere!" Chi-Chi yelled, her voice making your head pound due to your sensitive hearing.
     "Chi-Chi?" You say, she gives you a look of anger, walking up to you. You could see tears in her eyes and she slaps you.
     "No! My baby was already hurt because of you! He's going back to his studies and that is-"
     You grabbed her wrist, and everyone could feel your anger radiating off of you. "Chi-Chi, I am a VERY patient person. But first off, your yelling gives me a damn headache. Second, DON'T slap me again. Now, I can promise Gohan will be safe, even if it means me dying. But Gohan feels as though he owes it to Piccolo to help bring him back."
     "That monster has nothing to do with this (Y/N), and he won't go near my baby boy aga-"
     "Dammit Chi-Chi were you not listening to me on the way here!" You yell, looking at her. Tears had come to your eyes, remembering Piccolo's sacrifice. "Piccolo saved Gohan! Piccolo died protecting your son!" You let go of her and turn.
     "Fine but if he so much has a scratch on him when he comes back, I swear I'll-"
     "You won't do a damn thing to me Chi-Chi. If you even so much as try, no dragon alive will be able to fix what I do to you." You open the window, looking outside of it and taking deep breath to calm yourself. When you turned to face Chi-Chi, your face was calm. "I'm sorry Chi-Chi. I know you only want the best for Gohan, that you want him to grow up with a loving family that cares for each other. But you have to quit underestimating his potential. Gohan's a strong kid, he'll be fine, that I can promise."
     "Hmph." Chi-Chi turned and walked to the door. You followed her and put a hand on her shoulder, turning her to face you.
     "Chi-Chi, you have to trust me. I won't let Gohan get hurt. I give you my word. Okay?" Your voice was soft, almost motherly. It reminded you of your own mother back from your home planet.
     Chi-Chi still had that fire in her, but she nodded. "Fine." You removed your hand, and she turned and walked out of the hospital room.
     "Alright. It's settled. It'll take me 6 months to get everything up and running so I'll see everyone then."

     Through the coming months Bulma prepared the ship and herself for the trip to Namek. The other three doing the same, knowing it would be a long, tiring trip. But to them, it would be worth it. Especially to (Y/N), who wanted nothing more than to see her friends, and her mentor, alive again. Though she had this sneaking suspicion she would see many familiar faces on Namek, especially one that would cause her rage and despair to see. Who would that be? Find out in the next chapter...
