The Going Life

Chapter 14

  After the encounter between kana and her brother, sting and rouge were a little more careful. "Hey kana-chan? Are you ok?" Frosch asked. " Yea...I am. Don't worry about me, ok? I..I just need some sleep. " kana walked to her room leaving them in the main room.

Kana changed into her pajamas and laid in her bed.

  When...when will the pain leave me? I thought i would be happy with these two...but the suffering just keeps on following me... There was a knock at Kana's door. "C-come in!" Sting walked into the room and sat down on her bed. " Hey, you ok? I sensed your magic energy. That was a lot of magic you put into that blast. I wanted to check on you." Kana sat there. "Come on kana, I need you to say something. We all are worried for you." Kana stayed silent.

  Rouge walked into the room with frosch and lector following. "Is Kana-chan ok rouge-sama?" Frosch asked. Rouge shrugged. "I don't know, sting? Is she ok?" Sting shook his head. "Probably not. She isn't answering me."  Kana pulled in stings shirt. " Sting...if my mom came by the house...what would you all do? " they all looked at each other and nodded. "Well, we would make sure to hide you and the exceeds. Then rouge and I would talk to her. If that doesn't work, we would have to fight her. If we don't come back in a few hours, or if she finds you, you have to protect frosch and lector by fighting your own mom. That sound like a plan?" Kana nodded.

  Kana rolled over on her bed and shivered a little. "Kana, you have to get under the blanket." Lector said. " I...I know... " Kana got under her blankets. She slowly closed her eyes and drifted off into a deep slumber.

Kana....kana...it's all your fault...you should just die...your useless...you never were the type of girl to have a life...get out! You can never escape me or this house!

  Kana opened her eyes. She sighed...just a dream... She got up and walked to rouge's room. She slowly opened the door. He was sleeping. She then walked to stings room and saw he was awake. Sting saw her peeking her head into his room. "Yes kana?" She then walked into his room and laid in his bed. Sting was at his desk, doing guild master stuff. "Goodnight...sting..." Kana fell asleep once again.

" Kana, have this necklace. When you wear it, I want you to think of me and all the fun times we have had...ok? You can do that for me...right? " Kana nodded, tears rolling down her cheek. "L-luna..d-don't die! I-im sorry! I shouldn't h-have wandered off! Please dont!" Kana was shaking her dragon. "D-dont..." She laid her head on her dragons arm and cried.  Kana jolted up and screamed into the night sky.

  Kana rolled over, tossing and turning. Sting fell asleep at his desk.

"Kana!! How dare you break that! That was special to me!!" Her mom shouted. "You break something that I loved! I break something that you love!" Her mom ripped her necklace off of her neck and three it outside. It was a glass Dragon with a moon carved into it. It said 'I miss you' on it. She teared up as she saw the most precious, important, and fragile think that she owns, break in front of her. "Mama!!! Why!?" Her mom slapped her. "Don't ever raise your voice! Ever!" She kicked kana. "Your useless to me...just die already." Kana's mom walked off.

  Kana jolted up screaming and crying. "Luna! Mama! Why!?" Sting jolted awake, hitting his knee in the desk. " Ow!" We quickly got up and hugged kana as tight as he could. "Sshh...it's ok...it's ok...it's just a dream kana...don't worry...I'm here with you...sshh..." Sting was letting kana.

  Rouge came into the room. "Did she have another dream?" Kana nodded while crying. Rouge walked up to kana and hugged her to. "Don't worry kana...nothing bad is gonna happen to you...we're here with you..." Kana just continued crying.

After a while kana settled down and fell asleep. Sting and rouge were both in the bed with her. Kana was in the middle getting comforted and hugged.

  Little did kana know...her mom was planning on hurting and damaging her even more that she already is...
