The week went by quickly. Harry started working in a café near the Uffici Gallery. He found out, to his surprise, that the job included two Italian lessons per week. He was truly thankful for that because he felt utterly alone.

He was closing the café when he bumped into a brown eyed girl.

"Excusi"-he said in an apologetic manner.

"It's okay"-was all she said before collecting the sketchbook and the box of charcoal that had fallen to the floor. He helped her, after all it was his fault.

"I truly am sorry"-he repeated while he collected the broken pieces of charcoal and ,the now damaged, wooden art set.

She gave him a reassuring smile as she placed the items in a small leather backpack.

"You are new here, aren't you"

Harry took the chance to start a conversation.

"Is it really obvious?"-he said as joke.

"Your Italian is not very good"-laughter escaped her lips.-"I'm new too, I'm Annie"-

"Harry. Art student?"-he asked.

"How did you know? Did my sketchbook and art set give it away?"- she teased him.

His smile was all she wanted to picture. His green eyes shone brightly as his dimple began to be more noticeable. He was a piece of art.

"Can I apologize with a pizza."-he said fearing a rejection.

"I'd love to."

They walked along the Florentine streets laughing at what each other said. Harry was kind and fun. They talked about banal things as they ate the 4 frommaggi pizza. They sat in the red booth of the Trattoria bringing the place to life.

When they finished the last slice of pizza Mr. invited them to a death by chocolate cake her wife made. They knew the both had to be heading home pretty soon, so as the table filled with silence they both stared into each other eyes, green against chestnut brown. They both felt the connection. The magnetism that drew them together was otherworldly and they knew it.

"Thank you for such a lovely evening"-Annie said unsure of the next move.

She had only seen kisses in movies and she hadn't decided yet if he liked her as much as she was beginning to like him.

When they said their goodbyes to Mr. , Harry insisted in accompanying her to her apartment. She couldn't refuse. He had been a true gentleman throughout the evening.

The apartment block was near and their small talk faded away.

"I am so glad I bumped into you Annie" his fingers were messing his glossy curls.

"I am too" her smile reached her eyes as she approached him to place her lips on his right cheek.

"How about coffee tomorrow?" his crimson cheeks were giving away his nervousness.

"How can I say now" she smiled at him "There's a great café near the Cathedral, meet me there at say 10 am?"

"I won't accidentally break any more of your art supplies ever again, I solemnly swear." he said half joking.

They said their goodbyes unwillingly, they both wished they could just stay there forever.
