Hi. My name is Maicie Clemmons. I am 8 years old. I sing songs that I write. I am in an adoption home. My parents left me when I was 4 so I've been here since then. Nobody else lives here for some reason. We don't celebrate any holidays and we don't go outside. By "we" I mean Ms. Lucy and I. Ms. Lucy is in charge of me. JINGLE JINGLE!!! Those were the bells that mean someone just walked in. I heard Ms. Lucy talking to someone.
"Macie? Can I come in?" Ms. Lucy knocked on the door quietly.
"Yes, Ms. Lucy." Ms. Lucy walked in with a couple that looked around 19 or 20.
:This is Mr. and Mrs. Whitesides. They are here to adopt you." Ms. Lucy announced quietly. Se had always been a quiet person.
"Hi. What's your name?" Mrs, Whitesides said whispering to me in a soothing manner.
"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Whitesides. My name is Maicie Clemmons." I wasn't a shy girl. I was direct and I made myself clear the first time,
"Awww sweetie...." Mrs. Whitesides blushed, "Call me Mahogany and my boyfriend, Jacob."
Mahogany and Jacob went downstairs. I could hear that they were filling out the papers to adopt me.
