My Twin Sister

Mahogany pulled up my birth records today and I found out I have a twin sister. We didn't know who, but it said that her name was Skylynn.

"Hmm.... I've heard that name before?" Mahogany asked herself. She got a phone call and answered it.

"Hello?....Oh hey Nash!..... Of course I'll watch Sky for awhile.....Maicie and Skylynn can play together!....Okay....Bye!" Mahogany looked at me bubbling over in excitement.

"Maicie! Nash and Hayes are your brothers and Sky is your sister! That's why your last name was Floyd! We can meet your mommy, daddy, and brothers, and sisters!" Mahogany cried out. I looked away.

"What's wrong Mai?"

"Mommy and daddy didn't want me! But they wanted Skylynn. I hate Skylynn for ruining my life!" I said bitterly.

"Oh. Well, I'm sure it's fine." Mahogany said trying to console me.

*2 Hours Later*

Ding Dong! I ran to the door in my navy floral dress, navy Sperry's, and navy bow and pulled the door wide open. My smile faded quickly as I saw who it was.

"Nash!" Jacob yelled as he saw who was at the door.

"What's up bro?" Nash asked Jacob.

"Nothing much. You?"

"Same"

I started crying and ran upstairs to play with my horsies. Not long after Sky came up. She saw my horse collection and I could tell she wanted to play.

"Can I play?" She asked. I could see the puppy eyes on her face.

"Sure" I answered before realizing I said that.

She sat down and we played. It was actually sort of fun. Okay, a lot of fun! I really like Sky!

"Hey Sky, wanna spy on the adults?"

"Yeah!"

We ran down the stairs slowing down about half way so they couldn't hear us.

".....they're sisters....move in....hate mom and dad....bring Sky....with Maicie....Thanks." We heard bits and pieces of their conversation. We ran up the stairs.

"Sky! Maicie!"

"Yes!?" We yelled in unison.

"Down here please!" Nash called.

We bolted down the steps.

"Okay, so you two are sisters. Mom didn't want Maicie so she had you put in an adoption home. Because mom and dad hid Maicie from us, we will be moving in with Mahogany, Jacob, and Maicie. Sky, Hayes, and I will go home when mom and dad aren't there and pack stuff and bring it back here." Nash summed it up.

Sky and I looked at each other and squealed. My perfect ballerina bun became a messy bun from jumping in a circle with Sky. I had finally found my other half, a twin sister that was perfect for me.
