3 weeks later..

All us sitting in August room waiting on his update. Yes, he is woke! He have been in physical therapy & of course I've been there every step of the way while doing cheer and managing school. I'm number 1 out the whole school so you know, I was bucked lol.

That night of his accident he was put into a coma & he woke up the next day. The doctor say he is a true fighter because he never seen someone wake up from a coma with almost healed wounds inside his body, bone structure secure and brain okay.

August likes going to therapy just because his coach & a physical therapist helps him! I just sit & watch I'll get up when I see him hurting & he would just say "I'm fine, I'm a man a little hurt and strength won't hurt me. Now just chill & watch me." I'll just throw my hands up be like okay! I do love enjoying his body.

& guess what?

They caught the guy who shoot August.

Of course not the police! Actually they doing a murder investigation on the guy!

But back to my baby! He's been trying to keep everyone happy while he's in the hospital sad & depressed. Sometimes he would throw hints about the girl he likes.. I would get upset thinking that it ain't me! I was snapped out of thoughts when he ask what I was thinking about.

Me: this guy I like..

A:when can I meet this guy?

Me: you know this guy already?

A: what he look like?

Me: nope ain't telling you.

A: thought we was bffs

Me: you thought wrong. Lmao! Im just playing, but you'll see.

A: man you been telling me this for a good 3-4 months now.

Me: well apparently you to blind to see I'm talking about you. Oops.

A: *smirks* you like me. I like you too!

Me: *blushes* don't know nobody like your ugly ass!

A: apparently it came true! Come here!

He gets up, limping. Picks me up & put me in his bed.

A: now don't move!

The whole time we just say there in each other arms, til both us fell asleep! We was woken up by the doctor coming in saying he needed a sponge bath!

A: aye, doc? My nurse & my girlfriend can wash me?

Doc: they sure can! Angel you can handle cleaning him.

Me: giggles* how you know I'm his girlfriend?

Doc: I may not be the smartest man in the world but I am a trained people's person. I know your his girlfriend. I might be old but I ain't lose my mind just yet.

Me & aug laugh.. *nurse walks in, hands me gloves & a net*

A: nurse can she wash my private?

Me: Uhhhh, no I can't! That's illegal.

Nurse: she sure can.

Me: *mugs nurse*

Nurse: she laughs! Sorry sweetie.

I covered my eyes when I had to wash him! I kinda of was shock at how long & big he was! He was laughing. I didn't find nothing funny.

He said "get smart or out of line & you gonna deal with him.."
