My knees went to my chest and my arms went around my legs as i patiently waited for Olive to apear. i sat on my bed next to my window. i thought of her smile and the smell of her silky red hair. my heart begin to ache.
A few seconds later i was taken out of my daze by a knock from my window. i saw olive standing outside my window on the fire escape, holding a mcdonalds bag and smiling. I opened my window and she jumped into my arms, bring us down onto the bed. She laughed and our faces were a inch apart as we both looked into each others eyes. She lightly kissed me and sat up. i propped myself up and my cheeks felt hot.
my eyes trailed over to the bag and my head cocked to the side. "whats that?"
She chuckled and pulled out a wrapped up burger. My stomach ached as i saw the food. i dug my nails into my skin so i didn't immediatly grab the burger and engulf myself in the calorie filled meal.
"I noticed you didn't eat lunch so i picked some up for you" she said shoving the burger infront of me. feeling guilty, i took the burger and slowly unwrapped the greasy packaging.
"How come i don't see you on the bus?" i say hovering my mouth over the fluffy exterior of the burger.
"my parents pick me up. I was a little late cause i ran over to the mcdonalds thats a few blocks away." She pulls out a few fries from the bag and chomps on the tips of each.
"theres a mcdonalds?" i exclaim chewing the calorie filled food, savoring each bite. Olive stopped eating fries and suddenly grabbed my empty hand(the other had the burger). I layed the burger down and looked at her with concern. She moved her hand up and traced my scars. I had decided since she already knew, to just wear a short sleeve tshirt without bracelets and wraps.
My hand twitched with response and i looked towards the wall.
"where are your razors" she said quietly. I let out a sigh and i reached under my bed. i pulled out a tiny box which contained my razors. I handed it to her and she opened the box. She pulled out my 3 razors and stood up. not knowing what she was doing, i stood up as well. Without even asking where the bathroom was, she came out of my room and begin to search all the rooms for the bathroom. I laughed on the inside and silently pointed to the bathroom.
She grabbed my hand and led me to the bathroom. Without hesitation, she dropped the razors in the toilet. My hand clenched around hers and i swallowed my defiance. She turned around and kissed me roughly, before flushing the toilet.
My mask shattered and tears begin to roll down my face. I covered my face with my arm and sobbed. Warm heat surrounded me and i realized that Olive was hugging me. i returned the embrace and let out wretched crys and sobs.

Me and Olive lay on my bed facing each other. One set of our hands were intertwined. We talked in hush voices and laughed. To my luck she didn't bring up the food. It sat at the foot of the bed and even haunted me from that distance. I heard the door opening and Olive quickly sat up.
"bye!" She said kissing me and then hopping out my window. I shoved the food under my bed and pretended to be asleep. My dad came in my room, checked on me, and then left. I clenched my pillow and thought about Olive.
"she is perfect"
