"Hey Betty. Archie with you?" Pop smiled as he asked me.
"Afraid it's just me today Pop, Archie's got music." I answered trying to crack a smile at least half as wide as Pop's.
"The usual breakfast order right?" he asked, with a tinge of sympathy in his voice.
"You got it Pop." I strolled over to an empty booth. Whilst waiting on my order. I began to suspect Archie. I realised that there was something unexplained. Yesterday he'd glanced at his watch in Biology, and ran off down the hall, towards music. He had had a lesson yesterday.

Butterflies danced in my stomach as he began to walk over.
"Hey," he muttered.
"Um...hi," I had an embarrassing stammer in my voice.
"Look, I know that this is kind of weird, but... can I sit? Everywhere else is full." he questioned obviously uncomfortable and humiliated.
"Yeh... why not..." I smiled.
After about five minutes Pop can over with my breakfast. I could see a greedy look on the boys face.
"You can have some if you want." I chuckled. He flushed red as he realised that he had been staring.
"Thanks." He smiled as he spoke, and all of a sudden there it was again. That impossible eye contact that was impossible to turn away from. I guess I didn't want to turn away.
"It's Betty by the way," I stated.
"Jughead Jones," he answered, smirking. " I know it's a weird name, you'll get used to it," he joked.

' You'll get used to it ', this echoes through my head on a loop. It was, in fact, something I could get use to...
