CHAPTER TWO!

Hope you enjoy;)(Three days before)
January 3rd.Finally the day I've been dreading is here and I can't halt the darkness from coming only hours from now. Everything hinges on what I do at midnight tonight, and once done it can never be undone. I can't think straight this morning, I put my keys in the wrong pocket and then panicked when I couldn't find them. Today could be the difference between walking away and getting myself and others killed. My hands spread like pale starfish around my chipped coffee cup. I hopped the caffeine would help my mind be at ease. It usually does normally, but today was going to be anything other than normal.
Every time the task ahead jumped in my memory I felt wasps in my stomach. I had to continue to tell myself to think of her.
But what if they were wrong about everything.
The uncertainty still sat there wondering if it was all true.
How could any of it be true? To me, they were just the scary stories you would tell around the campfire. The proof was not enough for me, but if I were to go back on my word who knows what they would do. I had no control over the situation.
******** 12 o'clock midnight
It felt as if the sky was at its darkest and the moon was at its brightest.
The smoke left my mouth with an anxious blow, as the plane finally landed. My stomach felt uneasy as I watched their over expensive limousine pull up next to my embarrassing rustic car.
It felt as if the president himself was about to exit the private jet any second.
I had no idea what they looked like, I had only spoken to them over the phone. That is how they contacted me in the first place.A man that looked around the age of twenty or so stepped out first, then a skinny yet slightly curvy woman tagged behind him closely.
They were radiant I didn't believe what I was seeing. Someone would gladly complement one their appearance but it wouldn't be good enough. They looked as if they were almost plastic or fictional like they had just stepped out of a famous tv show.
I stood there against my car as they approached me.
The moon light hit them to were there skin looked almost like a translucent white. The man wore a set of black dress pants which matched the black button down and the woman was wrapped in an emerald dress that complemented her strawberry waves hanging over her skinny exposed shoulder.
I huffed a massive breath that had been waiting to escape.
"Are you Tommy?" The man asked as he towered over me like an intimidating skyscraper while blowing a very large amount of smoke from his cigarette.
From afar they looked normal but up close he was completely terrifying, and she was dripping with overpowering beauty. The Man that I heard over the phone was named Charlie, so I suppose the name belonged to the giant before me.
"Um... Yes. Yes, I'm Tommy. You must be Charlie." I finished nervously. Saying that I was scared was probably the biggest understatement of the year.
He didn't reply just gave a stern stare.
I cleared my throat."I am Regina Peterson, and yes, this is my son Charlie. Now, please follow me."
The woman finally spoke a command as she walked to the long black limousine. Tossing the cigarette from my lips to the ground I straightened out my knitted sweater.
We entered the vehicle as my heart was racing and my hands were trembling.
The luxury scenery inside made me feel out of place but I tried to act as casual as I could in front of them.
