I am genuinely so sad to let Davina go. Guys, I love her so much and the only thing that is keeping me going is the fact that she is still going to appear in this series because of course she is. I just can't let her completely go.

I love Davina because she is just so caring. She always wants to help people and it doesn't matter what you do to her, she will forgive it. It's like with Finn and how he forgave Peter even though the boy broke his heart. (Check out Hopeless if you haven't, all of that sentence will be explained.) And I loved that she just completely showed all her feelings. She isn't a character who tries to hide them and suppress them. If Davina needs to cry, she will cry. That isn't a weakness to her, and it shouldn't be for anyone else.

Davina's relationship with Finn is something that I didn't really touch on in this book but is something that I am also in love with, which is sad that I couldn't highlight it that much here. But oh well, I got enough of it in Hopeless and will hopefully be able to write more of it because them together is my favorite thing.

I know that the ending might not be everything that you guys wanted and more, but I thought it was only fitting. Davina's whole thing, like I said, is forgiving everyone who has wronged it, which is why I thought it was important to end on the note when she doesn't do that. When she betrays that. It's been known throughout all of this that Davina had a terrible upbringing with her mother and that Anna was never around to actually raise her, which is why I thought it was so important for this to be the ending scene.

Davina needed to realize that not forgiving someone and instead cutting them out was freeing. She needed to learn that you can't let everyone back in once they hurt you, but instead you need to leave them. That was why the final chapter is so important. Or at least why I think it's so important. Because I still need to learn this. Because my friends have hurt me and I will forgive them immediately, and maybe I shouldn't. I don't know.

I love Davina so much and I hate saying goodbye to her. Not only her, but Conrad and Rosie. (Yes, they will still be around in other books, but they won't be highlighted as much.) It is truly a time for goodbyes.

Thank you to everyone who has read and enjoyed this. Thank you for commenting and voting, or even just being a silent reader - much like me, actually. I love each and everyone one of you, thank you for supporting The Night We Met. I love you and I hope you join me be reading the other books in this series. Somebody Else, a Flash Thompson fic, has been posted recently and Hopeless (Peter Parker) is already completed. Also, for any Jessica Jones fans, I have you covered as well - Disfigure.

I hope you will all see this series grow, but it's completely fine if your journey with these characters ends here.

And, to answer any lingering questions; no, this book will not be getting a direct sequel. Yes, Davina and the other characters in this book will be featured in other books but there will not be a direct sequel with Davina as the main character and Wanda the love interest. This is where her main journey ends.

I love you all,
Ellie xx
