A Confession (Verkwan)

Hi, my name is Hansol. People around here can me Vernon though. Normally i'm shy and keep to myself, but I made some goals this year. To hang out with friends more, do good with my grades and stuff, talk some more, and... uhhh... confess to my crush.

I've known this guy named Seungkwan for a while. Ever since high school I guess. He's so cool. He has a nice personality, he's charismatic and so cute! I've basically had a crush on him for the longest time. No one knows this except for a few of my closest friends.

(At lunchroom)

"So Vernon, how's your plan coming along." S.coups says with a grin on his face.

"Leave me alone. When I get the courage I'll tell him."

"Haven't you been saying that for a long time now," says Wonwoo.

"Yeah man, you should just confess already. You've been dragging this out for like years." Mingyu added. "I asked out my crush and look what happened," looks over at Wonwoo with a smile. Wonwoo blushes and gives Mingyu a heart with his fingers.

"Not in front of my salad," S.coups laughed.

Vernon stares at Seungkwan who is a couple tables over. Seungkwan has this glow. With his bootiful smile and his shiny blonde hair. It's hard not to stare sometimes. Everytime Vernon looks over, Seungwan has all attention on him. He loves looking at his smile.

"Hello earth to Vernon." Mingyu waves a hand in front of his face.

"There you go again. Stalking Seungkwan like a creep," S.coups teases.

"Leave me alone. Eventually I'll go talk to him."

"You know what. I'm tired of waiting for you I'm just going to ask him myself."

"No! S.coups! Don't go-" Too late. S.coups is already heading to Boo's table. Vernon feels cemented to the floor, he can't say anything. He can just watch as his soul gets crushed. He holds his cry in. Seungkwan means so much to him. But wait.

"Oou, who would have thought S.coups and Jeonghan." Mingyu looks with surprise. Instead, S.coups is talking with Jeonghan. Jeonghan is one of Seungkwan's friends. He is also very popular. They both pull out their phones. S.coups walks back.

"Vernon did you see that? Easy right?"

"I thought you were going to ask Seungkwan, I'm so relieved."

"No. I love playing around with you, but Seungkwan is just for you."

"Wait so we aren't going to talk about how S.coups got Jeonghan's number."

S.coups smiles shyly with a blush. "No let's not."

"Aww, what? S.coups actually has feelings," Wonwoo jocked.

"Omg I ship it."

Vernon looks over to admire Seungkwan again. Except for this time Seungkwan is looking right at him. Vernon looks away quickly and covers his mouth fast. He can feel himself getting red. He looks up again and Seungkwan is walking towards him! Vernon gets up quickly and runs for the bathroom. He's still not ready to talk to Seungkwan. His heart is racing fast. He looks back to see Seungkwan's confused face.

Once in the bathroom, Vernon tries to calm down.

Wow, wasn't that such an overreaction. He probably thinks I'm weird now. Great. What's worse is that S.coups is probably talking to him now. I better go out and fix things.
"Ok no more being shy. I have to confess!" He says in the mirror.

Someone walks out of a stall and gives him a look.

Knowing my luck ofcourse someone would hear me shout at myself in the bathroom. He tilts his head and walks out.
