(Mark's POV)

My alarm started to go off, right in the middle of a good dream... Dammit. I was dreaming about my crush, Sean McLoughlin... I really like him. And yes, I'm gay, so deal with it.
I had a dream where he took me out on a wonderful date and it ALMOST ended with a kiss, but I woke up just as he was about to kiss me.

"Damn you, alarm clock," I groaned, slamming my fist on it to shut it up.

I got up and started getting ready. I wore the following outfit (minus beige sweater), along with some gold bangles and diamond stud earrings:

If you couldn't tell, I was a bit of a crossdresser, but I don't care. And luckily, those shorts passed the hand test and went halfway down my thighs. I've never gotten in trouble for wearing that kind of stuff before. Most of the teachers like me, so...
I brushed my raven hair thoroughly and then brushed the floof to the side, then put on a vibrant red flower crown.
After spritzing on some of my perfume, I put on my shoes, grabbed my pink backpack and headed downstairs to meet with my parents. Well, my mom and stepdad, anyway. They both supported me and loved me, even though I was gay. They just loved me for who I am...

"Hey, honey," my mom smiled.
"Hey, mom," I grinned back, grabbing a blueberry muffin for breakfast.
"Have a good day at school, kiddo," my stepdad smirked.
"Will do."

He may not be my dad, but at least he somewhat fills that void. As I walked to the bus stop, I just ate my muffin, minding my own business.
I waited there, knowing a few others were gonna show up soon. One being Jack himself. His real name's Sean, but he likes to be called Jack.
The sad thing is for him, he's bullied almost constantly. One, for being emo. Two, for being gay and liking me.
The reason he was bullied for liking me in particular was because I was seen as a popular kid at my school. He was known as an outcast.
I always saw him listening to music and not talking to a soul. Whenever I did try to help him, I was either held back or pushed away.
I may be a good asset to people, but I won't let them get away with bullying for long. I don't care how short I may be; I will kick someone's ass. Especially over Jack. Just then, he showed up. His headphones were on and I could hear the music playing.

"I'm not so sure about anything anymore," It played. "I guess I got what I asked for. I've been so sore, from always sleeping on the floor. I don't wanna do this anymore. I don't wanna do this anymore. I don't wanna do this anymore.

Jack and I looked at each other for a few seconds, then smiled and waved. Just then, his bullies came up as the bus pulled up. I wasn't gonna let it happen if I could help it. So, we just got on.

"Ah, there's the emo we all know and hate," Jason smirked, looking over his seat at him.
"Get away from me, Jason," Jack sighed, taking his earbuds out in one yank. "I'm not  in tha' mood fer yer bullshit today."
"Did I ask if you were?"
"Jason, knock it off," I snapped, earning a angry look from him.
"Why're you protecting him, Mark? He's nothing but an outcast. Besides, you have no say in this, so shut the hell up."
"Don't ya dare talk tuh' him like that!" Jack growled, ready to stand up.
"And what're you gonna do," Marco scoffed. "You don't have any friends here."
"And Mark-y," Jason smiled sinisterly, moving into my seat. "I knew you wore that outfit for a reason..."

Jason groped at my sides, but I pushed him away. However, he pulled me to him. The bus driver wasn't even aware, and he wouldn't do shit anyway.

"Get the fuck off of me!" I yelled.
"Mark!" Jack shouted.
"Shut up," Marco growled, hitting him.
"Jack!" I yelled. "LET GO OF ME, YOU FUCKING CREEP!"

As much as I tried to push him off, he kept bringing me back up to him. Suddenly, he kissed my neck, and I started to shake because of my anxiety. Jack saw it and he snapped.
He kicked Marco in between his legs, making him drop like a fly. Then, he grabbed Jason by his hair and threw him into the next seat. Afterwards, he blocked me from them until we got off the bus. Then, he took me over to his group of friends.
It consisted of Signe Hansen, Amy Nelson, Robin Torkar, Wade Barnes, and Bob Muyskens. They looked at me, then at Jack.

"I'm not gonna allow him over there with Jason," Jack growled.
"What'd he do today," Robin asked.
"He left a hickey on his neck!"
"What," the group gasped.

I looked down at my neck and saw a one-inch hickey on my chest. Then, Jack turned to me as the group discussed what to do.

"Ya didn't have tuh' stick up fer me," he said softly. "That just got ya in trouble..."
"I don't care," I reply. "They don't have any right to bully you, and I won't let it happen if I can help it."
"Just... don't do that again? I couldn't bear tuh' see Jason do that tuh' you again."
"I won't... But I should probably go to my group before they get suspicious."
"Alright... see ya."
"Bye. And... thank you."
"Never a problem..."
