They arrived at the party and despite the fact that it was almost three in the morning, it was still going strong.
The party encompassed three rooms in one of the dorm halls. People were milling around everywhere, some talking, some drinking.
"Okay," Rory shouted over the noise. "There's the room that is serving as the bar for tonight. That one in the middle is for dancing. The third one is usually the deep talk and/or make out room."
"I'm intrigued. Let's hit the bar first and then head to the make out room?"
Rory rolled her eyes but smiled. "Fine."
Ten minutes later, they were stumbling out of the bar room, as there were so many people pushing and shoving.
"Gah... I spilled my drink all over myself," groaned Rory.
"Here." Jess took her to a quiet corner of the hallway. "Take off your shirt and I'll give you my hoodie."
"What?! I can't take off my shirt here!"
"Nobody is paying attention and I'll shield you. You reek of whatever the hell is in this cup, and you're going to freeze. Now come on." He swiftly pulled his hoodie off, leaving himself in just a tight black tee shirt.
Rory sighed and looked around quickly. In an instant, her shirt was off and she was fumbling with the hoodie. He couldn't help but stare at how beautiful she was.
He snapped back to reality when he realized she was struggling and he easily slid it on her arms and zipped it up.
"Thanks," she blushed.
"Any time." He kissed her forehead and smiled. "Better?"
"Much better. Now if I remember correctly, we were headed to that room over there, right?" She teased, pointing to the "make out" room.
"You bet we are." He picked her up quickly but she stopped him before they got to the room.
"You know..." She ran her fingers through his hair. "We could just go back to my room... It's more intimate."
He searched her eyes. "Okay... If that's alright with you."
"Yeah, it is."
"Okay then." He continued to hold her as they made their way back to her building.
They barely shut the door before they were kissing again, this time with an intensity that they had not felt in a long time.
"Rory..." Jess mumbled through the kiss, laying her down on her bed gently.
"Hmm...?"
"Are you sure... This is okay... with you?"
She pulled away barely to meet his eyes. "Most definitely."
He nodded and smiled softly. "Good." He climbed over her and slowly began kissing her again, his fingers finding the hem of her shirt.
Instinctively, Rory went to stop him. When she realized what she was doing, she just closed her eyes and gently held his upper arms as they kissed and, soon enough he was tossing her shirt onto the floor.
He pulled back to look at her for a minute, admiring every inch of her. "You're beautiful."
She blushed. "You're very sweet... And I like your face." As soon as she said it, she furrowed her brow trying to figure out WHY she said it.
Jess threw his head back and laughed. "I like your face too. Mostly your eyes.... But your lips were very involved in the decision."
She rolled her eyes shyly. "You should just kiss me now so I'll shut up."
"My pleasure." He leaned down to kiss her again.
After a minute she began tugging at his shirt and he immediately took it off, to which she broke the kiss with wide eyes.
"Woah, hubba hubba. My guy is a hunk."
Jess broke into a smirk. "Oh really? That's a good thing though, because you're too hot to be dating a dud."
"Thanks? I think?" She rolled her eyes. "Now where were we?"
He bit his lip and then quickly made a decision. He kissed her neck and then slowly moved down her body until his lips met the waistband of her pants. Rory was a mess at this point, all nerves and excitement and heavy breathing.
Before she could overthink it, she helped him unbutton and remove her jeans
Though they found moments to laugh, their situation grew serious and, eventually, things got very heated.
(A/n: it didn't feel right to go into any more details in this particular situation because I felt that it was not true to Gilmore Girls itself)

Rory awoke the next morning to an alarm, her head on Jess' chest.
"Ugh..." She groaned. "Early. Bad. Die. Coffee."
"Glad to see you're a morning person," mumbled Jess. He reached over to shut off the alarm.
"Mornings make me grumpy."
"Good to know. Now come on, grumpy. You told me to wake you up at 6 to get back to Stars Hollow. You wanted to surprise your mom for breakfast, remember?"
"Huh... 6am? Must have been an alternate universe Rory."
"Oh really? My mistake." Jess smirked. "Good, so then we have more time for this." He rolled over and kissed her collarbone seductively.
"I wish..." She sighed. She pulled the blankets around her and started to get out of bed.
Jess laughed. "Rory, I've seen you naked. You don't have to walk around all wrapped up like that."
She blushed. "This is how girls do it on TV. Besides, it's cold in here. And there are windows."
"And, as you pointed out, we're basically the only people left in this area."
She rolled her eyes. "I'm not walking around naked." She started digging around in one of her clothes boxes. "Now get dressed and help me load these boxes into my car."
"Yes ma'am."
