The End! (Chapter 14)

Edd's pov

    Five years. Five years of being with Tord, five years of being happy, and five years of peace. Tom has apologised profusely, and me and Told have forgiven. Actually, it turns out that Tom actually had a thing for a different ginger. *wink wonk*
   
    With the help of Paul and Patt, Tord is healthy and oil free. Things are peaceful..
   
    Me and Tord had actually been thinking about our relationship getting way more serious.. Lately we've been talking about.. well, marriage! It's been great, and I hope I can marry Tord someday...
   
    Oh! I almost forgot! Me and Tord have a date tonight! I can't wait to see what Tord has planned!!

Tord's pov

OH. MY. GOODNESS. TODAY IS THE DAY! I fix up my tie as I inspect my horns- I mean hair. I'm totally not a demon. Yeah. I check my pocket to see if the velvet green box is still in there, although the weight of it makes me feel like I'll sink into the ground. What if I ask Edd to marry and he says no? What if he breaks up with me? What will happen?
    I shake my head and try not to focus too much on the negative... Edd suddenly walks into our room, and I immediately stop what I'm doing. He's taller than me, and has a really nice buttoned up dress shirt. It's a nice mint green, contrasting my dark red shirt. It's actually a really nice shirt, but I found it in the women's section.. I'm a bit nervous about wearing it. As if reading my mind, Edd comes up to me and wraps me in a hug.
    "You look amazing, Love.."
    "T-thanks Edd.. not t-too bad yourself..."
    He chuckles and takes my robotic hand.
    "You ready to go?" Edd asked, taking me too the car.
    "As always." I reply, my hand going to my pocket once again.

    The night went so well! We went to a nice restaurant and had a great time with some great food. At the end we walked through a park. It was around midnight and I was shaking like a leaf..
    "Tord, are you ok? If you're cold you can have my jacket." Edd asked, starting to take off his jacket.
    "No, no!! I'm ok! I'm just nervous.."
    "About our future." Edd looks like he's about to say something, so I stop him.
    "Anything could happen. I know that a lot of bad things and people live on this planet, but Edd, you're one of the best people out there. You've continued to stay by me and support me when I needed it, and for that I'll be for ever grateful."
   I get on one knee and I hear Edd gasp.
    "I know you have my back, and you know I'll always have yours. I love you, Edd Gould. So, will you marry me?" I ask, taking out the ring.
    I hear nothing for a couple seconds, and it makes me so scared. I looked up at Edd who's crying and has a giant smile on his face.
    "O-of course you idiot!!" He exclaimes. He picked me up and spun me around, giving me the biggest hug in the world. I giggle, and slide the ring on to his finger. He pulled me close and deeply kissed me.

Best night ever.

I've been meaning to finish this for a long time and I apologise at how long it took to end this. I'm sorry if this chapter seems rushed.
