Chapter 14

I woke up to another bright day. I ran downstairs to the kitchen. I chugged a bowl of cereal and ran back upstairs. it was 6:30 and the bus would be here at 7:00.

I ran to my closet and threw on a teal tang top, white short shorts and blue converse. I ran to the bathroom, it was 6:45. I brushed my hair and teeth. I put on a little mascara and ran downstairs. I grabbed my red backpack and threw it on my back.

I ran down the street and barley caught the bus. Alex didn't ride the bus so I was all alone.

Ashlyn's POV

~skip bus ride~

I walked into the school. I found Alex walking down the halls. "looks like we have 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th hour together." Alex said. "Cool lets go to first hour!" I responded. We walked to first hour and took our seats.

"Alright class, today we are gonna get together with partners and tell them about your self. So, Ally with Megan, Gary with Joey, Sherry with Kristina, Logan with Michael, Kelly with Ashlyn, Ryan with Jacob, Alex with Andrew, and Lilly with Kansas."

I walked over to Kelly's desk and sat down. Kelly had black hair with purple hilights. She had hazel eyes and tan skin. "Hey, my name is Ashlyn." I said. "I'm Kelly." She said.

"I was adopted, before that I was abused, my parents died in a car crash, ever since I was adopted I had a better life."

"I feel so sorry for you! Oh my god!"

"Its okay, I'm good now."

"Okay well, I was born in Oregon and moved here this summer. I like it here better, I don't really have much of a story."

" That's cool"

I looked over to see Alex and Andrew having a lot of fun.

"Do you like him?" Kelly asked.

"Who?" I answered

"Alex, Ya know everyone has a crush on him this year."

" really? I didn't know. He's my best friend."

" Can I tell you a secret then?"

"Sure."

"I have a crush on Andrew but I don't think he likes me."

I forgot that we were just staring at them until Andrew looked at is. We quickly turned our heads back and continued talking until the bell rang.

Andrews POV (new pov :0)

I saw Ashlyn and Kelly staring at us but as soon is I looked at them they turned away.

I have to admit that I had a crush on Kelly, I mean to hilights were so pretty. But does she like me?

I walked to second hour thinking about how I was gonna ask her out.

Ashlyn's POV

Second hour was history. I was already bored but I got through it.

~time skip to lunch~

Kelly's POV

I was walking to lunch when Andrew walked up to me. "Oh hey Andrew." I said.

"Hey, I have to ask you something." He said.

"What is it?"

"Will you go out with me?"

"Yes!"

"You will? thank you! come on let's go eat" he said while reaching out his hand.

"Why thank you!" I said while taking his hand.

Ashlyn's POV

I sat down next to Alex and some of him friends. "Hey Alex." I said as I sat down.

"Hey Ashlyn! did you meet my friends, that's Jacob, Logan, Michael, Ethan, Corey, George, and Landon." he said.

"Nice to meet you all."

We were talking about random things when I saw Kelly walk over holding Andrews hand.

"Your dating!" I mouthed to her.

"Yes! finally!" she mouthed back.

They were such a cute couple but I didn't know how it happened. This was great.
