Fighting the odds, going the distance, even if the sea misbehaves

Feelings that are so powerful that even the cold salty swirls can't drown

Enduring the denial, choosing the hard way, sneaking at dawn

Like a whisper, the wind crawls in your ear, sending you my fantasy

Carrying my words that were floating above the moonlit sea

Rummaging through the dark, guessing its way without the light

Enduring the long, hard way, just to reach you at night

You are far, but I still see you in everything I do or say

You are far, but I feel close to you at the last heartbeat of the day

You are far, but I'll send the rain to help you fall asleep gently listening to its stream

Under the burning stars, running towards the same beacon, playing with fire that doesn't burn our skin

Your eyes keep me warm, like a horizon, your pupil as the moon filled with rays to the brim

Your lids cover it like clouds, the elements can't touch me like you do in my dream

You are far, but i still see you in everything I think and write

You are far, but I feel close to you when I turn off the light

You are far, but on lonely walks I will send you crunchy autumn leaves

Lightning and thunder, hunting each other, but never in the same time and place

The rain falls, dancing through sun rays, creating the rainbows I chase

Like the ice cold fingers I always have during the spring, I need yours

To keep my blood running and make my heart beat with great force

The snow is melting, we walk in the mud as everything turns into green

The days are longer, the nights are shorter, but there's still plenty of time to dream

You are far, but I still see you in everything I touch and feel

You are far, but I feel close to you and it is so surreal

You are far, but when you are bitter I will send you chocolates and cream

The line between the now and then, close and far, got so thin

Like an hourglass that can be revolved, we don't need to chase time,

The clouds on the day sky and the stars on the night sky always align

There may be storms that take away everything from you, but after a while, it will be calm and serene,

I will give you everything I have, stored in a box in the corner of a dream
