Kirino's P.O.V
I was peacefully sleeping until the alarm clock woke me up.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at the time.
My eyes widened.
"I'M GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" I screamed.

I threw my blankets off and jumped out of bed.
I quickly grabbed my school clothes.
And changed.

I then looked at my phone.
"Oh gosh 5 missed calls from Shindou!" I said to myself.
I grabbed my phone and ran downstairs.

I knew my mom was already at work.
I grabbed the food she made for me and putted it inside of my bag.

After that I ran outside while calling Shindou.
After a while he picked up.

"Finally Kirino where are you?!
You're going to be late!" He said sounding really worried about me.

"No Geez didn't notice" I said back to him.
After a long silence I finally said something.
"I'm running to school right now."

"Good to know you're okay,See you soon" He said and hung up.

I started running faster.
After a while I heard another voice.

"Wait Kirino-Senpai!" Is what I heard.
I stopped running and turned around.

Kariya's P.O.V
"I'M LATE AGAIN I'M LATE AGAIN!" I screamed while running out my house.

"You forgot you're lunch!"
Hitomiko-san said.

I stopped running and she walked to me giving me my lunch.

"Thank you again" I said while putting it in my bag.
And then running away.

After running awhile I saw two familiar pink pony tails.

"Wait Kirino-Senpai!" I screamed.
Wait why did I even scream his name?

He stopped running and turned around.
He looked at me like he didn't care but he waited anyways.

"You're late too I see?" He said while suddenly started to smile a bit.

"Yeah, Kinda overslept how about you?" I asked him.

"Well same to me, Anyways let's hurry up or we'll be late!" He said.

He grabbed my hand and started running.
It took a while for my brain to progress what was going on.
When I finally realized I started blushing.

When we finally entered school grounds we stopped running.
Kirino turned around to look at me and looked confused.

"Is there something wrong?
Kirino-Senpai?" I asked him.

He then putted his other hand on my forehead making me blush even more.
"Do you have a cold? Youre pretty red and you're hot" He asked me.

"E-Eh?! No I'm perfectly fine don't worry about it!" I said to him.

"Are you sure? You shouldn't go to school it you're sick. " He answered back to me.

"Yeah I'm pretty sure" I said he nodded and he pulled me further.

"You know I care about you're health Kariya you're my friend after all" He said to me.

When he said that I felt a pain in my chest.
But i didn't know why?
Why did it hurt when he said we were friends?
Do I even deserve to be friends with him?
I mean I've been an asshole to him.
Why is he even so nice to me?
What did I do to deserve this?
Is this a dream?!
WAIT DO I LIKE KIRINO?!
What no?!
Or do I?
I'm confused

"Kariya KARIYA?!" I snapped out of my trance.

"W..What's wrong?" I asked confused because he was shaking me while calling my name.

"I was talking to you but you spaced out for 3 minutes long."He said to me.

" 3 minutes?! It felt like 5 seconds" I said back but he just laughed.
"It was definitely 3 minutes" He said back with a smile.

"Let's just go inside Kirino-Senpai~" I told him with an annoying tone.

He then slapped the back of my head.
"Don't be like that" He said annoyed.

"Ouch Kirino-Senpai that hurts!" I said while putting my arms on my hips.

He rolled his eyes and smiled at me.
I felt my heart beating faster again.
And I also started blushing again.

"Let's go inside Kariya because gosh we are late" He said while turning away.

I stared at him from behind while he walked away.
I guess we are friends now.
But why does the word friends... Still hurt so much?

"Are you coming or what?" I heard Kirino say at me.
I looked him in the eyes waited a moment and said.
"Oh Yes Kirino-Senpai" I said and ran until I walked next to him.

Didn't knew friendship could be so painful.
Am I in love with Kirino Ranmaru?
