Adoption!? (Bo Duke)

Chapter 4

When I heard the door knob started moving I just got scared screamed and hid under my bed because I thought it was Mrs landson coming to beat me up. Then I heard a familiar voice from the other side say "sweetheart calm down everythings fine! (The door opened and I hid farther under my bed as I kept scouting back I heard the voice again) layla where are you? We just want to meet you, we won't hurt you!"

I back up too far and I jumped to where I hit my head on the  under part of my bed which hurt a lot "ow"

I known the people heard me because their feet headed toward my bed. Then one of them bent down it was bo duke "hey layla it's alright . . . . why don't you come out here for us?"

"No!"

"Oh . . . . no huh? Then I'll have to come after you. Want that?"

"No!"

"Here I come!" Bo started to crawl in after me. (I don't know his actual name yet) Bo got a hold of me and pulled me out from underneath my bed. I was in his arms my eyes closed tight "Baby girl your ok! I won't hurt you, neither will he will you open those pretty eyes for me?"

I moved my head saying no as I was layed on my bed Bo and the other guy started tickling me.

"O-ok ok I'll c-cooperate . . . . Please s-stop tickling!"

They stoped and Bo sat beside me with the other guy who I found out was luke.

Luke said "Now sweetheart why were you so scared can you tell us?"

"No not here anyway!"

Bo said "Ok well the reason why we're here . . . . is I was wondering if you wanted to be adopted?"

"Seriously!?"

"Seriously I want to adopt you little one!"

I jumped up and down on my bed then hugged bo really tight as I said   "my new daddy's bo duke! (I made Bo and Luke laugh I looked up with a confused look) what?"

I almost thought they were joking. So I backed off and had an embarrassed look.

Luke said "you know bo's not his real name right?"

"No I didnt!"

Bo said "my real names John and his is tom!"

"Bo!"

Tom laughed again then said "I think she likes calling you bo!"

John said "Yeah I guess so! Let's pack up your stuff layla!"

"Yeah!"

Tom helped me get my stuff packed up. As John went down stairs to sign the adoption papers.

*John*

Halfway threw me signing all the papers layla and Tom came down stairs. Layla was sure ready to leave the adoption center I could tell threw her eyes. Tom told her while I finished signing to go play with the other kids.

*me*

I went to the play room and of course Casey and Jason were in there playing. So I better get myself ready to be bullied. I was playing with video games when my hair got pulled I looked back and it was Casey who pulled my hair "so little miss not so perfect got adopted huh? (I knotted in fear) Well Jason why don't we give her something to remember us by?"

"No please don't!'

"Oh now you speak up huh? Well there's no way your getting out of this!"

They pushed me off the gaming chair and started to punch me around the ribs Jason stomped on my arm and Casey somehow got a knife and stuck it in my leg.

Jason said "that should be enough to remember us by (Casey wouldn't stop) come on that's enough Cas!"

Jason pulled Casey away from me and walked off. Once I noticed they were gone I started to cry.

*John schneider*

When I finally finished the signing I went to find layla with Tom right behind me. When I found her, I found her on the ground in the play room crying her eyes out.

"Baby girl what's wrong?"

"Daddy!"

"Sweetheart what happened?"

"Bullys!"

"Oh (I looked back at Tom) well they won't touch you again!"

"Promise?"

"Promise baby! Now you ready to go to your new house?" Layla knotted as I picked her up. We walked out to the General lee I got in on Bo's well . . . . John's side and wouldn't move for a minute. I honked the Dixie horn and giggled when I heard it this way instead of on the
show.

"Sweetheart move to the back you can't drive!"

"Ok daddy . . . ."

We headed toward home well after dropping Tom at his house. All the way to the house layla was quite which worried me . . . .
