Pretty Little Liars: Mike and Hanna Pregnant

Chapter 2: The Decision

A/N: sorry for not updating sooner, I had writers block and lost interest in PLL for a while. But I'm back, although I'm not sure how often I'll be updating. I forgot to mention that Ted and Ashley Marin are engaged.

The Next day: Monday September 24
Time: 7:00am

Hanna was up and getting dressed. She wore jeans and a shirt. Then she went down to the kitchen and made herself some oatmeal and sat down. She was eating when mrs. Marin came down.

"How are you feeling?" Mrs. Marin asked

"Better." Hanna said lying, she really wasn't

"Okay good. I'm heading to work," mrs Marin said then she got her purse and left

Hanna finished up and left for school.

When she got to school Hanna met up with her friends.

"Hey guys what's up?" Hanna asked

"Nothing. I was just saying how Mike was acting a little weird last night." Aria said

"What do you mean?" Hanna asked

"I don't know he just seemed...off." Aria said

"Oh." Hanna said the bell rang

"Let's go to class." Emily said

After that they went to class.

A few hours later: 12:30pm
It was now lunch time everyone was going in all different directions to get food, eat and hangout with friends.

The 4 girls were outside, eating lunch and talking when Mike came up to them looking off.

"Oh hi Mike." Aria said

"Hi Aria." He said quickly and sounding off then he turned to Hanna "I need to speak to you in private."

"Yeah okay." Hanna said also sounding a little strange as she got up

The other girls seemed a little confused but didn't think much of it.

Hanna and Mike went into the school and found an empty classroom that was open. They went inside mike shutting the door behind him. luckily the few people that were in the hall didn't notice.

"What's going on?" Hanna asked

"I...I just wanted to know if you had made a decision about the well you know." Mike said

Hanna nodded "I'm keeping it."

Mike leaned up against a desk and spoke "are you sure about this Hanna?"

"Yes Mike I am." Hanna said

"Oh my gosh I'm going to be a dad. Crap." Mike said

"Are you Okay?" Hanna asked

"I don't know Han. This is a lot to take in , you know. I'm in grade 11 I still need to finish high school. Oh my gosh." Mike said

"I'm sorry. I just knew that if I gave it up for adoption I would regret it in the end.." Hanna said

"No, no don't apologize. It's your body, your choice I'm just in shock still. It's still sinking in." Mike said

"It is for me too. But also remember I haven't gone to the doctor yet so it could be a false test." Hanna said "I think we  should go back to lunch and try to relax a little everything will be okay." She said trying to calm him down

He nodded and they left the room.

Hours later: 5:00pm (after school and after going to places to find a job)

Mike had just gotten back from going around to shops and other places asking if there was any jobs available. He knew that it was the responsible thing to do as he was going to be a dad and need a way to support Hanna and the baby.

Eventually he had ended up in the Brew and they did have a job as a Barista available so he had an in person interview with the manager, which he thought went well.

"Mom, dad I'm home." Mike said coming  in

Ella then came into the area.

"Perfect timing I just set the food down on the table." Ella said then she went to the bottom of the stairs "Aria dinner."

A few minutes later they were all sitting down at the table eating.

"Mike you've been acting weird for the past couple of days. Is everything okay?" Ella asked

"I'm just stressed." Mike said, that was actually true

"About what?" Ella asked

Mike took a couple moments as he was trying to come up with an excuse "school."

"Ah. Is there anything we can do to help?" Byron asked

"No." Mike said

They then continued to eat. Just after dinner and dessert Mikes phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and it was Hanna so he picked it up and disappeared up to his room shutting the door. He answered it

"Hi Han." Mike said

"Hi mike. I went to the doctor."Hanna said

"And?" Mike said

"I'm pregnant." Hanna said

With that he sat down on the edge of the bed slowly,

"Mike are you still there?" Hanna asked

"Yeah, I'm here. Are you sure?" Mike said

"I'm sure the doctor did a blood test and told me." Hanna said

"Sh*t. Do they know how far a long you are?" Mike asked

"5 weeks." Hanna said

Are we going to start telling people's?" Mike said sounding like he was on the verge of crying

"When we're ready. I'm going to have to tell my mom first though as I live with her ." Hanna said

"Okay...I love you and I will support you. I've already started looking for a job. But I need time to think Han. This doesn't mean that we're breaking up or whatever. I...I just need time to process this. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye." Mike said trying to keep himself calm

"Bye." Hanna said

When he set down his phone beside him. Mike then put his head in his hands and started crying as quietly as he could because he didn't want Aria or his parents to hear him. He didn't want to be a father at 17; he didn't want the responsibility of raising a kid at this age; he had mixed emotions about it he was scared, sad and angry; he couldn't get his head wrapped around the fact that this was happening they were careful but it still happened. How was he going to tell his parents? How was he going to tell his sister that he got one of her best friends pregnant? How would he juggle school, work and raising a child? This was a lot to process. All jokes, feelings and unknowns aside he knew that this was going to happen and he needed to support Hanna and the baby financially, emotionally and physically.

Eventually when Mike was done crying he got up and went to the washroom to grab a Kleenex.
