Losing Lux

I walked into lux, looking for Lucifer, as always. Expecting to see strippers and drunks, but I was shocked.
There were working people everywhere, people with clipboards.
"What the hell..?"I muttered.
"Don't you dare touch the piano!" The familiar British voice screamed. He was really pissed.
I rushed up to him. "Lucifer what the hell is going on?" He turned to me, and I swear I saw his eyes glow red for only a second.
"Some stupid mortal thinks he can take lux away from me!" He yelled. "I'm being evicted!"
"Hey I'm gonna have to ask you to leave. You are trespassing." A man, very douche like, walked up in a buissiness suit.
"I am not trespassing, this is MY club!" Lucifer took a step towards the man, trying to intimidate him into leaving.
"Not anymore it ain't." The man wouldn't budge. "It belongs to the city."
"Then I'll buy it again! This is my home you can't just take that away!" Lucifer screamed, his eyes full of anger. I didn't even know what to do.
"If you don't get off this territory we will be forced to get the police involved." He pulled out his phone.
"Go ahead! Call them! I have a friend over there and she won't let this bloody place get shut down."
"You have twenty four hours to evacuate before we send the police force to make you." He turned to his men. "Come on everyone!"
They poured out of the nightclub. It was just me and the devil. Who seemed extremely distressed.
"Lucifer, I-I'm so sorry." I put my hand on his back.
"Just- leave me be y/n." I knew those weren't harsh words. He needed some time alone.
"Okay. Well if you need anything, anything at all. Call me." I gave him a sad smile before walking away, looking back only once.

Lucifers pov
"Wait what?" Linda lowered her note pad.
"I'm being evicted. The detective told me it's the woman who evicts everyone else in this bloody city and she won't take it back." I growled.
"So there's nothing you can do?"
"I'm afraid not." I sighed.
"Well you've got twenty more hours to own lux, so maybe you can find a way to get it back before then, she explained.
"That's it! I'll throw one more giant party, the best one of all! Thank you doctor." I gave her a smile and walked out the door.
"That's not what i-" I walked away before I could hear the rest.

A long while later

"Oh hello," I sang as two pretty girls came up to me and rubbed my chest. I took another shot and swayed to the music. Dancing with some girls. Mazikeen was giving me annoyed glances but I ignored her.
I heard someone yell police and the music cut off. My twenty-four hours were up.
A group of police men entered the club. I walked up to them with a smile and a hundred dollar bill in my hand. "I don't supposed any of you lovely folks would like a drink, on me of cooouursee." My voice trailed off and I lowered the bill as Chloe walked up to me. Looking dissapointed. My smile faltered.
"Guys, you head back it got it from here." She said to the other police men.
"You sure?"
"Yeah." She waited until they were gone and she looked up at me, frowning. "Lucifer it can't believe you... Turn the music back on!" She yelled, smiling.
The music began playing again and I smiled. "Detective..why?"
"This is your home lucifer. I'm not gonna let you lose it."
I smiled ear to ear.

However that act of kindness did not save my club.
I was sitting on a bar stool, alone in the place. Drinking and awaiting the people to come take my home away.
The elevator doors opened. Must be them. I stood up and walked over to them, a man with a file in his hand gave me a polite nod.
"Are you Mr.  Morningstar?"
"Indeed." I frowned.
"I have some news for you-"
"Yes I know. I'm losing my nightclub just let me sign the papers and let me be on my merry way." I held my hand out.
"You must be mistaken sir. These are the forms to buy this club. Apparently some kind soul let you keep it. You have to buy it back but I assume you can afford it." He gave me a smile as he handed it to me.
I stared at the papers, baffled. "W-what? Who - who did this?"
"Uhh says on the file that someone named y/n l/n filed those permits." He said, pointing to the papers. "I should be going. Congratulations."
I stopped functioning as I stared blankly at the file. The elevator doors opened again and y/n walked in, smiling at me. She was about to say something but I pulled her into a tight hug.
I pulled away. "Why?"
"Like Chloe said, this is your home. And I wasn't gonna stand and do nothing while you lose it. Chloe and Ella helped as well and I made sure neither of them told you." She shrugged.
I happily chuckled. I felt my eyes tearing up but I wasn't gonna cry in front of her. "We need to celebrate. How about dinner. Me and you here tomarrow night!" I smiled as a dark blush spread across her cheeks. She nodded.
"I would love that."
