Taking a Sick Day Off

Lucifers pov
I had returned to my club. I walked in to see Mazikeen wiping off the counter. She sneered at me.
"Oh come off it Maze." I rolled my eyes.
"The king of hell can't be on earth." She growled.
"Where do you want me to be, Pluto?"
"You know what I mean Lucifer." I just glared at her and she walked away, saying something under her breath. I sighed and poured myself a drink.

Y/n pov (in the morning)
My eyes opened. A feeling of nausea swept over me. I groaned and held my head in my hands. I felt like I was gonna throw up soon.
I turned over on my bed and I heard loud knocks at my door. I groaned and covered my head with my pillow. Hoping they would go away. But I sat up quickly when the door opened. My heart racing. I stared at my bedroom door in panic.
"Y/n? You home?" Lucifers voice rang out. He walked into my room and his eyes widened.
"Jesus christ you gave me a heart attack!" I yelled.
"Guess again. And I apologize."
"How did you even get in here?!" I asked. He shrugged.
"I have my tricks." He winked and walked up to me. "Are you alright, love? You don't look to good."
"I don't feel to good either. So please go home." I said, laying down onto my side, but he just walked around my bed to see my face.
"Nuh uh. I'm staying." His sarcastic expression was gone and it was replaced with concern. "I can make you food."
"If I eat I will throw it back up. But...a glass of water would be fantastic. Please." I gave him a sad look.
"Alright. Brace yourself I'm gonna pick you up." Lucifer didn't let me say anything, he just slipped his hands under me and carried me bridal style into the living room and he gently placed me on the couch.
"Thanks."
Lucifer nodded and went into the kitchen to fetch me a glass of water. He came back and sat down next to me. I took a small sip of the drink.
"You need sleep," said lucifer.
"Then why did you take me away from my bed?" I asked.
"Theres fresh air in here. You won't feel so bloody suffocated. Here." Lucifer gently pulled me towards him and I laid my head onto his lap. Using him as a pillow. I closed my eyes and took a nap.
