the dark crystal

Chapter 2

In class, since I still had that crystal of dark power, something strange was happening. I felt the power surging into my body. Soon enough, I passed out for about an hour. But when I woke up, I was in an entirely different place. What I saw was very, you know, unnatural. It was coated with darkness. I saw a mysterious figure ahead of my path. He was different to the place I was in. he was covered in light. I went over to him but every step I took, he seemed the same distance away. I didn't know what this was about. Then I started to see my friends. they looked different. They were looking at me in disgust and turned away. Eventually, they started walking further and further away. Was this to be my future? Was my future to be alone and be despised? I did not like this. Not at all. Was this all a dream? Was it an illusion? This kept on getting even more confusing. Was this future I was to have because of the of the dark powered crystal I found? This was all too much to take in at once. Then all of a sudden I heard a voice inside my head. One I had never heard before. The voice said " a crystal lay within possession of one whom does not know of its power. Once darkness of crystals released by possessor, they turn against all." I didn't know what it meant. Once the voice went away and disappeared, I awoke and found myself back at school but in the nurse's office. The school nurse was beside me waiting for me to awake. She asked me if I was ok. And she told me what happened in class. She also asked me how it happened.
