Jake wakes up and sees his dad walk into his room. Jake's dad says " Since what you did yesterday was so despicable, you are not allowed to leave your room the entire day, and if you try to you won't be able to in the first place." Jake says " How are you going to do that? What put a barrier on my window?" Jake's dad says ' yes, exactly." Jake's dad walks to the window and door and puts a small gadget that shines and leaves a purple mark then fades away. Jake's dad says " This will alarm me if you try to leave this room, if you want food just ring this bell and I'll come up and bring you some." Jake's dad walks out and shuts the door. Jake speaks " Great, this is just perfect! I'm stuck in here the whole day and I'm going to miss the tournament. Jake lays down on his bed and looks up at the ceiling. " Mom, I wish you were here, since you have been.... Gone everything has been different. Please come back!" Jake pleaded. Jake starts to cry and he tries to wipe the tears of his face. "I'm always here with you." a voice speaks. Jake feels a hand touch his, a shadowy figure of his mom is standing in his room. Jake runs to the figure but runs through it. Jake turns around but nothing is there anymore. Jake falls to the ground. "Why are you doing this? Did I do something wrong?!" Jake feels a breeze of wind pass him, with small whispers "go to that tournament Jacob..". Jake starts to cry " Thank you, but I need a plan and the tournament starts in ½ an hour.
*5 Minutes Later*
" I got it, this my get me grounded for my whole life but it's worth it!" Jake rings his food bell. Jake's dad walks up the stairs as he is approaching the door Jake comes to the front of the door. Jake's dad opens the door and says " Okay Jake, what do you-" Jake punches his dad in the face, he falls to the ground. Jake says " Sorry dad!" and runs out the door towards the tournament.
*10 Minutes until the tournament's opening ceremony*
Jake runs to the front of the tournament coliseum, people clapping and laughing hysterically can be heard from a mile way. Jake runs into the front entrance, and sees a girl about his age walking towards him. He says "Hi, my name is Jake magneston and I want to ask if you know where competitors are supposed t-" Jake is interrupted by the girl walking through him and then disappearing. Jake exclaims "what the heck!" Then the same girl jumps from the ceiling and starts laughing. Jake says " Wow! Are you a-" The girl says " a hologram element, yeh I am. The names Evie." She puts out her hand, Jake puts out his hand and shakes hers. The girl says " c'mere I'll show you where we are supposed to be" Evie takes Jake to a glass room with other elementals. Evie says " here we are, feel free to train in the room next door. I gotta go do something but it was nice meeting you!" Evie walks away. Jake walks to the front of the room, which is made entirely out of glass. He sees the arena and big stand for people to watch. But who? Suddenly a voice can be heard in the speakers " Welcome to the first tournament of the season! We are happy to say we have a special guest with us today. The one and only Patricia!" The crowd goes wild to be in the presence of an elite god. Jake thinks " Patricia, the god! The owner of the fire sector! I can almost faint!" Patricia puts a hand over her heart and faces down. Everyone including Jake do the same. Patricia looks up and speaks " people of my sector we are here to see who will challenge me and the others later on and advance to the next stage." She spawns a fire sword and slashes the ground. Fire travels on the floor to a grand podium and lights it on fire.
"Let the battles COMMENCE!"
The crowd cheers. The man on the speaker comes back on " In case you forgot how this whole thing works this is how it goes, we will have qualifying matches, then quarter finals, semi finals, and then the final matches. Matches start in 5 minutes, competitors ready up at the tubes. Jake says " tubes?!?" Everyone walks into another room with tubes. Each tube has the person's name. Jake walks to find his but sees something that could ruin all of the things he could have worked for. One of the tubes next to his sys Evie, but the other one next to him says "Andrew"
