y/n was always a happy girl, she laughed a lot, she told jokes, she always smiled at everyone. she had been a close friend of sadies since 2nd grade and she met the cast through her and they all quickly became the best of friends, they invited her to their hotel for a trip and she obliged. she was also in love, with finn.
a bad part on her end.

finnie boi: hey guys can we meet at the restaurant down town i have an announcement to make

y/n likes ducks: yea sure y for?

sadie the sink: ^

finnie boi: me and millie have an announcement to make

and with that y/n's anxiety toppled on top of her. she was deeply in love with finn and the worst case scenerios popped up in her head.

well, only one. and that was that they started dating.

millie and finn had always gave little hints to everyone that they had feelings for each other, and she always thought about the day that they would get together, the day that her love had found someone else.

that night instead of going to the restaurant, she played a song that finn and her friends would see when she came back from the restaurant.

[AT THE RESTAURANT]

millie and finn sat next to each other, excited to tell the news to their fellow co-stars.

there was no one in the restaurant as they didn't want any fans coming and disrupting their evening.

soon the table began filling up with his co-stars, even the adults showed up (except winona and david, as they had their own things) as he had called them since they weren't in the group chat.

"hey guys!" finn said to them as he waved and the table began consisting of hugs and handshakes.

"hey wheres y/n?" a curious natalia asked from across the table.

"oh she said she couldn't make it because she was sick." millie replied.

"oh, thats a shame." natalia nodded and replied back.

[AFTER EATING]

finn clicked his fork against his glass cup as he stood up.

"may i have everyone's attention?" he said loudly as the others heads turned towards his sight.

"so me and millie have been wanting to say this for a while, it hasn't really been that long but," finn and millie's hands intertwined "we're dating!!" millie said loudly with grins plastered across their faces.

the room quickly began filling with whistles and woo's as they congratulated them.

"its about time!" caleb shouted as he rolled his eyes in a playful manner and the others laughed at his remark.

"i think we should go check on y/n and make sure she's alright." millie said grabbing her coat as the others nodded and did the same.

[AT THE HOTEL]

"im so happy for you guys!" sadie said as they reached their hotel room and opened the door through the keycard.

"hey y/n we're home and have good news!" finn said as his voice just echoed through the hallway.

"y/n?" finn questioned as the others made their way to the living room, looking for her.

they found her curled up on the couch in a deep sleep, her face in tears and her clothes soaked in tears also.

"what the-" gaten said with his jaw wide open. the others gasped quietly as finn stood there, frozen. he was y/n's best friend and he couldn't bare to see her like this.

"hey guys whats this?" noah said as he pointed to  y/n's laptop with a video paused titled, to finn. it showed her sitting on her bed, holding a ukulele in her hands.

"to finn." joe read from the laptop.

finn snapped his head as soon as joe finished reading and he quickly made his way to the computer, the others crowded around him.

"should we play the vi-" dacre asked, and before he could finish, y/n's voice filled the room. finn played the video without hesitation.

"hey guys." y/n sighed as she looked out the window. "who am i even talking to no ones gonna see this." she laughed to her self, but a sad laugh. she paused for a moment.

"so finn got a girlfriend, well im not 100% sure but im positive." she looked at the camera as tears filled her eyes.

finn stared at the screen as the others did the same.

"so i wrote a song? i dont really know how else to get my feelings out so. yeah. im going to look a
back at this and laugh at myself for being so stupid over a boy i like getting a girlfriend." she laughed once again, as she looked down at her ukulele.

"scratch that." she paused for a while.

"over a boy i love." she said quietly, but loud enough for the laptop to emit the sound.

everyone's jaw dropped at what she said, as the finally found out why there was a tear stained y/n on the couch. they looked back at her and stared until the laptop began filling the room with the sound of a ukelele being strummed.

the others realized that the pretty girl with the butterscotch hair was millie, and that she was singing directly to her, and that it was about how she knew how finn liked millie from the start but hid the feelings.

the group hadn't said anything until millie spoke up and said "guys what if she wak-" but didn't finish as finn had shushed her.

the others continued to watch the video until they heard a creak from behind them.

y/n had woken up, and she was trying to leave.

she stood still like a deer caught in headlights, as more tears filled her eyes.

"y/n-" finn started to say.

"no finn. it's fine i know you love millie and thats what matters. im stupid for crying and for feeling so jealous, you finally find love and what am i doing? crying. so if you'll excuse me, im going to be leaving for a while." she said before taking her coat and leaving the hotel room.

and that's when finn found out that he didn't love millie, he loved y/n.

but it was too late.
