When you live in a world without any color
The only way to see whats right is when soul mates touch one anotherWhat if you saw this colorful world with somebody new
What if your soulmate saw color with someone who wasnt youWhat if color was given but not for your own
What if this world of grey is all that you have knownWhat if you hold the color and another does not
Would u hold on with all that you gotBut does the other have the right to see color too
Do they deserve the color more than they deserve youWere you wrong in your exchange of words from the heart
Or was the chance corrupt from the actions at the startIt is a a simple question, but one that hurts the mind
Do you keep your own color, or give it up for your soul mate to findThe first is indeed a selfish act
Might be the most selfish as a matter of factTo reject someone of thier color is no easy task
But to wish for my own color is what I would askBut do you care about your soul mate more than your color
Would you give it up for the benefit of the otherThis is the second choice, but it hurts I know
For this is my choice and there are no more colors to showIn a perfect world, we both see color
In a perfect world we love one anotherBut now I am grey once again, and this is no perfect place
My colors are now fadingJust like the memory of your face
