Before they could enter, Ta'eh was stopped by a most beautiful scent that caught both his nose and his heart. They stood at the bottom of the few stairs that laid to the twenty meter high gate of the temple. A cool breathe tickled his uneasy chest and worried face. He looked around to see where it is coming from. To his left was another long and narrow path "That wasn't there..." he said as Qaher started to understand what is happening. "Neither was this" he said as pointed to their right. Ta'eh kept wandering around before he smelled the same scent again but this time it was stronger.
"I am sorry if I troubled you" a very delicate feminine voice broke through Ta'eh restless head. He turned around to find the owner of this unearthly voice. He gazed in awe at a woman most fair and beautiful. Her eyes were striking pure blue, black flowing hair, full proportionate figure all wrapped up in a fair red silk dress. "I hope I am not disturbing you..." she said as she approached Ta'eh "I just noticed that you were wandering and I was curious about what you are doing here". Qaher knew her very well, knew who she is but didn't wish to interrupt, *This, he has to do alone* he said to himself as he saw Ta'eh become more and more succumbed by the state of art of her beauty.
Ta'eh remained silent as the young woman stood before him fondling her hair. "Do you want to go inside? I can show you a way in, this door is blocked for now, they won't open to anyone" she then placed her hand on his elbow "I have been waiting for a while now too". Ta'eh couldn't form one sentence, he just nodded. She started walking away "It is okay, you don't have to follow me if you aren't sure. Your friend there can help you" she pointed to Qaher who had a mutual understanding with her. "Do you want to follow me?" she asked again. The poor succumbed man thought to himself *what could possibly happen? This is the most beautiful woman I have seen and I have Qaher with me, if she proves to be evil, he will help"
He didn't turn around to ask his friend's help, he just started following her, she first walked then her pace became faster. Ta'eh couldn't lift his gaze from her rear, a state of art it was. He was often distracted by her flowing black hair, that charming hair that matched the darkest loneliest night. She turned her head to him as they walked but the look on her face is now different. It is not full of love or charm as it was, but a normal indifferent one. The poor man thought it was because he wasn't fast enough. He started speeding up in order to regain her attention. With every step, she got faster and faster till he felt that they are running or that she is running from him.
He decided that he needs to show her his real speed, what he is made of. The fool leaped before he ran like the wind. He started laughing like a madman before he turned around to find her standing, smirking before disappearing. The shock was strong enough to make him stumble and start to fall. It didn't take much for him to meet the solid cold rocks by his face. He ran directly into a wall that he didn't see before. He started wiping the dirt off his face and when he was done he found himself laying on the ground next to Qaher, at the entrance of the temple.
He looked up at his smiling friend, "What is it with travelling with you and returning back to the starting point in a flash?" he asked as he stood up as Qaher laughed. "Are you done? Now follow me!" he said in a less friendly tone, it seems that this warrior is a bit disappointed in his friend. The tall and wide doors opened to show a long hallway. As the two companions walked in, the first two blazers art their sides were lit, with every step they took, more blazers were lit. Ta'eh was still puzzled by that unusual woman and the whole unexplainable encounter. His thoughts became more disturbed and thus disturbing as he saw huge paintings at the sides of the long hallway. Each set of paintings had a group of people walking into a trap, one by one. In one of the paintings, he would notice the group cheering for the falling idiot. Finally, he had a break from this twisted art and more twisted questions when they arrived at another door.
A great blinding light flashed onto their eyesas the door opened. When Ta'eh regained his sight in a matter of seconds, hewas in for another surprise. "What now!" he said the door opened to an endlessmeadow. "We are still inside right?" he asked his friend who only gave a nod.The meadow had so many fields, small houses, people and animals walking aroundbut all of that wasn't as interesting as what stood high and graceful in themiddle. A huge tree around which a crowd of man and beast gathered. "You know, normally I would be asking questions but I think I will give it a rest" Ta'ehsaid jokingly to his friend who sufficed with a smile.
